President Bush went to the Dwight David Eisenhower Office Building this morning to sign HR4613, the Defense Appropriations Act, and then traveled to Columbus, Ohio to the Aladdin Shrine Center to speak to more than 2000 avid supporters in a town meeting, involving a lengthy policy statement and a question and answer period, and then headed to Saginaw, Michigan.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
Night girl. I'm very proud of your little girl. Give her a hug also and tell her Nan says, "thanks" for asking such an important question.
I'll have to check out your website.
Gnite,
Gnite
My older sister said "dammitport" to describe the couch, and my mom said I used to say "refrigerbrebrator" and "ambliance."
Kerry: You want to see my war wounds? Here, it's all over, these exploding rice-scarring marks. No, it's NOT cellulite. It's burning, napalm-like freakish rice-scarring. Never felt anything so terrifying in my life, except for that Christmas in 1968 when President Nixon, who wasn't in office till the following month, ordered me to go illegally into Cambodia where I drew enemy fire."
Nite!
Caught up....Good night. What a day!
;-)
We just have to get Franklin County on board (a good possibility), and Cuyahoga (not likely).
We'll still win it for him, though. This organization is hitting on all cylinders, and nobody's going to let down until November 3rd!
Like her question??? (I'll be back in the morning for your answer......I really AM going to bed now........really...........I am.........)

Emily, a ping is what you get when you join a list. For example, if you signed up for this list, you were notified that it was up and that's getting pinged.
Bump is just what people say on a thread for various reasons. Sometimes it's just to save the thread to their own page so they can get back to it easily. Other times, it means bump to the top and it keeps the thread up near the top of the list so that other people will see it.
You must be one very proud mother of that daughter of yours! We're sharing in her experience and joy.
I've spent the better part of my day on those threads, especially this one: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1185696/posts
"Kerry/Edwards lawyers warn TV stations over Swift Boat
ad"
VERY enlightening.
I was sitting on the side directly opposite the press platform, and no, I didn't rate a blue ticket :)
I'm coming to the conclusion that kerry was mentally unbalanced before he went to Vietnam. Just look at the string of actions since that day. ...
Happy anniversary! May you two have dozens more happy years together.
Probably already answered, but just in case:
A ping is like a page, except it is used on the Internet (say, for example FreeRepublic) to call your attention to a specific thread (this web page is one 'thread'). Check "Pings" at the top of this page and you'll see who's pinged you to visit what threads. Then click on the thread title and you can visit the thread. Sometimes someone will ping you to a specific post number on a thread.
A bump is like a volley to the top of the Latest Posts page. It is used to toss a thread back into the public arena. It's also called bttt sometimes, for Bump to the Top.
