President Bush went to the Dwight David Eisenhower Office Building this morning to sign HR4613, the Defense Appropriations Act, and then traveled to Columbus, Ohio to the Aladdin Shrine Center to speak to more than 2000 avid supporters in a town meeting, involving a lengthy policy statement and a question and answer period, and then headed to Saginaw, Michigan.

Hi Pippin! I hate him too.:( He is a first class jerk. He is so small that he couldn't touch the bottom of George Bush's shoe, even if he were standing on a long ladder on the top of the tallest mountain.

Sounds like we feel the same way about the little dweeb.

Nice to meet you!

The Cleveland area was devastated when Bernie was traded away.

He's a very proud Ohio son (MY part of the state, originally), and he's very loyal.

He said something basically like, who needs rock stars and Hollywood?

Then he made a reference to the fact that President Bush wouldn't be so stupid as to go to Michigan and say he was a Buckeye fan! (Touche, Mssr Kerry!)

For Kerry to even bring that up (about the 7 minutes) is the sign of a desperate Dork, who, by the way, just loved the Michael Moore movie.

It galls me even more, when they talk about him "running and hiding" flying around on AF 1 all over the country and not coming back to DC.

In my nearly 24 years in the military/government service, that has ALWAYS been the Standard Operating Procedure for a President in case of such an emergency. He insisted on coming back to DC much earlier than they wanted him to.

I did hear that McCain said that it was inapprobriate.I also remember seeing a thread earlier this afternoon on the White House press conference. It was so cool the way Scott answered the question about the adv.The media kept pressing him and he kept saying that the President has been constantly attacked by roughtly $68 million worth of adv for months now and that if ALL of the 527's against him were stopped he might consider asking the Swifties to stop showing it(paraphrasing)!

I agree.

As a matter of fact, I think he's gone off his rocker, in the same manner of Al Gore.

It's as if they're possessed by the idea of becoming President and will do ANYTHING, say ANYTHING to win.

Scary.

I have no idea if you're still here, but I'm learning from you! Here's my latest. We're having a bad summer financial-wise, but our kids are doing great winning cattle shows and selling cattle. SOOOOO I'm going to ask our son for a little loan. THEN, instead of paying him back, I'm going to take off from what I owe him for NOT embarassing him! For example, for $5 I won't wear a miniskirt and curlers when I walk him to school the first day. For another $10 I won't kiss him when I drop him off, and for the low, low price of $25, I won't walk him to school at all!

During concerts it will cost $10 not to stand up in the middle of the aisle and take a picture of him, $50 to not stand up and cheer when he walks in.

What do you think?

Time for anniversary supper with mr. h--he's going to grill steak and the onions and mushrooms are already cooking. 15 years today, and doesn't seem a year over 25!!! Just kidding! 15 yrs. ago I'd have NEVER dreamed we'd have two kids, three dogs, three cats, a guinea pig, fish, and two pens of sheep. :-)

I agree---the Dork pictures are fun, but there are plenty of other threads for them.

This is sanity island, a sacred place and should be dork-free.

It galls me too, the first thing I heard out of the lying mouths of my liberal coworkers was were is that coward Bush

I felt like tearing thier lungs out.

Then to complian the he didn't come straight back to CD. how foolish and stupid can they get?

did they want to see something happen to the President if he returned to DC and there were still planes crashing into buildings, perhaps even the White House?

THEY MAKE ME SICK.

These are some of the best mothering ideas I've seen in a very long time!

Mind if I borrow a few?

Bush a coward? Does a coward fly to Baghdad and greet our troops when he is the primary target? Does a coward fight a war knowing he is putting himself and his family at potential risk? Does a coward shoot himself and get a purple heart so he can go home and protest?....Well on that last one it would be a yes.
