Kerry Sticks Finger In Marine's Chest -- NOT! Here's the Proof

The question is: "Is Kerry sticking his bony, well-manicured, girly, index finger in the chest of the Marine pictured here?"

The answer is "No."

After optimizing the pic with Photoshop and Image Optimizer, what looks like Kerry's finger is actually the top piece of a wooden frame that holds a mirror and is attached to the window.

There is another mirror just like it behind the Marine, to the right of his elbow.

She'll say that they were in the process of taking down the frame so that the photographers could get a clear shot, which is why it was so crooked in the first picture.

The window in question is the one behind the messy hanging plant. You can see the less messy plant (fully inside the gold bowl), a light, and the messy plant from the other angle in the other picture.

As best I can tell from looking around 55 seconds into this news report from News 12 Westchester (click on "play this video after clicking on the link), there are six windows on each side of that Wendy's.

The window in question is the second from the wider black beam.

Looks like a legit photo, and those binocs have honeycomb "killflash" finlters that prevent off-axis glare from giving away one's position. Pretty routine stiff on the battlefield. And they can have little loop harnesses like you see, so that they can be removed if desired.

I like the picture of Edwards with his hand on the shoulder of the seated Marine. Edwards restrained the Marine after Kerry accused the other Marine of not earning all of his medals. Edwards said "Now calm down son - we all know you could whip John's butt from here to Cleveland. And if you do - I'll sue you."
