The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

Right on. The fact that the data is not brand new raises the hair on my neck immediately. Frankly, the longer they plan an attack the better the chances are that it will be horrific. I guess it's hard for our "fast food ain't fast enough" mentality to accept that these people are very patient and very determined.

I've been hearing radio commercials advertising the "big money" to be made in petroleum, specifically unleaded gasoline.

If there's so much money to be made, then they wouldn't be trying to peddle the idea to you. Believe me when I say this, Hipshot, factors such as "supply and demand" have already been factored into the price of the contracts long before these scam artists try to sell these contracts to you. The biggest money to be made here, is not by the person who buys the petrol/ oil contacts as a result of these advertisement, but by the person selling the contracts. The commissions are huge. If you don't know what you're doing -- and I mean really know what you're doing -- stay away.

Tom Ridge said Sunday there was MORE than one source. Condaleeza Rice said yesterday that there was MORE than one source. Bush said there was multiple sources. That should just end any "discussion of relevance".

But, it won't, will it? The dems are going to do everything in their power to undermine national security, because they think it might help Kerry get elected ... until we all go back to sleep, sing Kum Bay Yaaa! Remember -- even if you're dead you can still vote democrat ;)

Does someone have a link to where the lady that was captured in Texas had gold in her possession? I'm wondering why she had gold. Was she prepared for US's financial ruin and gold would be a currency to use to escape the US? Was she paying off a AQ cell member? weapons deal?

Good point. Secondary and tertiary objectives will most likely fall into the same geographic area, and may be quite close to the primary target.

As far as "themes" are concerned, I would say just for starters to look at food supply and distribution points for food. Along with those go methods of distribution such as rail and trucking. You can take this theme right down to the consumer level of the local grocery store.

Another theme has to be energy. We know about the nuke plants. But the Jihadists have got to have oil supplies in their crosshairs. I'd say this puts Houston into the primary target zone. Also the Alaskan pipeline and the offshore oil platforms.
