-7?? Is that correct? If so, I have feeling there are going to be some dirty tricks by the rats!!!

Clinton will be handing out "Mission Accomplished" cigars
to all the DNC staffers that helped make this possible.

no bounce and that's striking. they show there might have been a very brief bounce, not a bounce but a blip i'd call it among people interviewed on friday after the convention kerry was ahead by five points. we continued to interview on saturday and those people -- bush moved into a slight lead of two points. we will continue to interview people but this looks like the shortest bounce on record.

I strongly believe they are going to have to make Kerry invisible to even have a chance of winning this.

Some polls show no bounce. Of course their explanation is "there are so few undecideds that this is the best it COULD be".

What is this? The day after the dem convention - no bounce. Yesterday, Newsweek has a 4 point bounce. I just saw an article posted saying CNN has a "negative" bounce. And now, you post a 7 point bounce.
Which is it? I personally think the pollsters are trying their darndest to give him a bounce, whether there actually was one or not.
To: Marfoe
But... but.... but...
Newsweek has already claimed victory for Kerry!

I've heard the worst bounce in history was 7 points for a challenger. This is a -7 point 'bounce'.The worst prior to this was a -3 point 'bounce' for McGovern in 1972.
This isn't a bounce, it's a SPLAT!

Americans are far smarter than the Dims will give them credit for, they saw his hypocracy while he said he is against negativity and is for optimism while at the same time trashing the president and making snide remarks. Statements like reporting for duty and take back our democracy are very alienating not to mention his continual statements on how we alienated our allies when in fact our allies alienated us.

Kinda odd result .... perhaps the Democrat Convention convinced the Republican base that yes, they are likely voters in the fall? Nothing like a love-fest between the Ambiguously Gay Duo to make conservatives decide they need to go to the polls.

They'll sue all 50 states to make sure Kerry wins by litigation.
