Hanoi John Responsible for the Reviling of Returning Troops (Vanity)
TEXOKIE

Posted on 07/31/2004 1:24:07 PM PDT by TEXOKIE

I have great concern that it was Kerry's testimony (and the fakes he brought with him) before the Congress in 1971 that is DIRECTLY responsible for the greetings that our troops who served in Viet Nam received when they returned home. These heros DID NOT deserve the spit and epithets of "baby killer!" when they came home from one nightmare only to be confronted with another.

John Kerry's testimony told Americans that our young men were worthless scum. He told Americans that our young men performed horrendous war crimes as a common, matter-of-course habit.

HE LIED.

This fact about that 1971 Kerry testimony and its DIRECT consequences and implications should be emphasized during the campaign. I dont believe many Americans actually realize that it is JOHN KERRY who in such great part did this to our troops.

This reviling of our servicemen has caused deep, lasting pain in thousands of veterans and their families. John Kerry should be held to account for this. People need to understand the DIRECT responsibility he bears for this.

We know that decent Americans have in their hearts a true and profound appreciation of our troops and veterans. In many ways they show their support for our troops today with an attitude of NEVER AGAIN!

By God's grace, may that be true.

Never Again.

John Kerry must NOT become president.

"Would it sound any less disparaging if it was you he was talking about instead of our soldiers? Try it on for size, and see how you like it."

"I would like to talk to you a little bit about what the result is of the feelings these men lenz carryies with them him after coming back from Vietnam wherever it is he goes..."

Thanks for your reply to lenz. I hope he/she will look at it and consider taking it to heart.

The attacks on our troops by their fellow Americans as a result of John Kerry's slander did incalculable damage to a generation of heros who did not deserve it. God BLESS them abundantly and may He watch over them and heal them of their wounds.

I'm John Kerry and I approve this ad.

John Kerry and War Crimes in Vietnam
(He was in command of a Swift Boat
and ordered his men to do these things.)

Listen to this 1971 audio clip

I'm John Kerry and I approve
the desecration of the American Flag.

One sunny day in 2005, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench.

He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry."

The Marine replied, "Sir, Mr. Kerry is not President and doesn't reside here."

The old man said, "Okay," and walked away.

The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry."

The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Kerry is not President and doesn't reside here."

The man thanked him and again walked away.

The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying, "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry."

The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Kerry. I've told you already that Mr. Kerry is not the President and doesn't reside here. Don't you understand?"

The old man answered, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it."

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow."

I found this; GO HERE- 9.The Past by Horace Coleman (from THE VETERAN Spring 2004, Vol. 34 No. 1)
John Kerry did not found VVAW and was never its "leader." He was a prominent member and a spokesman for a time.

* Despite the often-obscene email that VVAW get accusing them of being "traitors," giving "aid and comfort to the enemy" and "communists," the FBI never found that to be true.

* When Kerry talked about war atrocities committed by American troops while testifying before a Senate committee, he prefaced his remarks about atrocities by saying "THEY" they said." "They" referred to those who testified at the Winter Soldier Investigation.

* Many original (and current) VVAW members feel that Kerry used the organization to advance his entry into politics and wasn't radical enough in advancing issues pertinent to 'Nam vets and the group. http://www.vvaw.org/search/?search=go
