Given the fact there are no media reports with insta-polling. The media papers are ripping the speech,

I submit this convention is becoming a persuation disaster for kerry. (waking up with a hangover and next to ...AAHAHAHAHA!!!)

He has very good reason to sweat.

At what point did he salute? What on earth was he talking about that made him stop and salute? Ghey.

I believe it's when he stepped up to the podium. He said something about, "Reporting for duty, SIR." Gag.

I'd forward this Big John song to a decorated Swiftie captain working to keep Kerry out if you had a source or gave me permission?
Let me know. :-)

Commander in Chief is allowed to salute uncovered and out of uniform.

I don't know about Army and Air Force. You don't salute uncovered in the navy or out of the navy.

My dad, a WWII Coast Guard veteran from the Pacific theater, said this was a badly-executed salute and that only the Commander in Chief is allowed to salute uncovered and out of uniform.

I did not see it on TV I heard it on the radio, and from what I am hearing it went over poor on TV - but I have to admit it was not bad on the radio- infuriating, but sounded good.

Whoever helped him with the speach did a good job - he managed to sound like both a conservative AND a liberal in the same speach. I kept on laughing because I thought that the people applauding are not FOR a strong militaryt or tax cuts.
