A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos) - 7.29.04
Whitehouse.gov, Yahoo.com | 7.29.04 | ohioWfan

Posted on 07/29/2004 5:47:46 PM PDT by ohioWfan

President and Mrs. Bush emerged from their Crawford, Texas ranch today (looking rested and ready to go) via Air Force One from Waco to Washington, and will begin a Midwest campaign blitz Friday, including visits to Ohio, Missouri and Michigan in just one day. Today he led a video conferencing meeting with his working group regarding the 9/11 Commission report, and is making plans to implement the changes they deem necessary, some by executive order, possibly as early as next week. The President also issued Executive Orders lifting the sanctions on Iraq due to the ‘removal of the regime of Saddam Hussein and other developments.’

Whitehouse.gov also did us a BIG favor today, by posting a series of Presidential pictures from the past which I will post for your enjoyment!

The Democrat lunacy is almost over and it‘s another good day to be a Bushbot, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

***The Republican Convention is going to be SO COOL!!!!!!***

Yes, it is! My daughter keeps asking me when it is; she's disappointed we have to wait a month for it. :-)

***.........should have read it first and saved everybody's time. Sigh........***

Don't worry, Ohio, it was pretty entertaining imagining GWB doing all that! I bet he'll be amused by the article, too, if he ever sees it.

RE: 911 commission recommendations--I thought I heard Kerry say he was going to put ALL of their recommendations into practice immediately! My thought was, "How can you say that when you couldn't have had time to read them?" I don't like the thought of giving that commission that much power! I think their recommendations should be considered, of course, but NOT automatically ALL put into practice IMMEDIATELY.

I think GWB will carefully consider which ones he puts into practice, not just do it to look good.

I noticed that about the music, too! I also noticed that thru the whole speech, they didn't cheer as loud or as long as they did for Dean!! And after it was all over and they had some crowd shots, many/most were sitting down, looking bored! I hardly saw any people who looked genuinely excited about being there.

I don't think they're scared as much as trying to be "nice".

The Dems. have given them soooooooooo much ammunition--they better use it, "nice" or not! BTW, I do NOT consider ads that show the truth, "negative". I think what Kerry did last night was extremely negative.

Don't know what happened, there, Ohio . . . I got to the Dose and my old post was still there . . . sorry!!!

No, I'm up and getting ready to go school shopping with my daughter. I'm so sad that they're going back in just two weeks!!! My husb. already took son shopping for clothes; WHEW! He's harder to take than daughter. Should be a fun day away.

You have a good day too!

Pat post a thread in activism and ask all freepers that are going to post....Then you can arrange a meeting place.... You have formed a temporary convention freeper network....cool. It you ask the mods they'll even keep it posted until convention time.....like the cruise thread.

That whole convention was a charade. They went through the motions of being excited to be there and to hear all of the lame speakers because they think that anything is okay if it'll beat George W.

GWB is on Fox/CNN/MSNBC right now, getting a very warm and authentic welcome in MO.

A google search for "html ascii characters" will bring up several pages that show what to type to get such additional characters in html.

See for example: HTML Codes - Characters and symbols.

There's a bunch of them, such as:

or:

You can cut and paste them from a web page such as the one above (as mombonn noted), or you can type in the special code by hand.

For example, to get

A get together of Freepers at the RNC convention would be SUPER.

I wished I'd said something sooner too.

We certainly have the best possible in our White House! Wiser, younger, more mature, more AMERICAN than that weird couple that longs to replace them! LOL

I SAW HIM!

How REFRESHING to see a real man speaking the truth after the whole week of lies. And the reception for him was sooo genuine . . . unlike the one last night. And another thing--you could tell GWB was honored to be there--he didn't think it was his "right", he knew it was the peoples' choice. (does that make sense?)

Believe it or not, I was so happy to see him, and my daughter was too, that we put off leaving for shopping till he was done with his speech! :-)

A truly humble man and just the one for these strange times we are living in.
