DEMS THROW AMERICAN FLAGS ON THE GROUND!!!! Carl Cameron on FNC is in the crowd and you see American Flags just tossed on the ground. I guess the Dems feel that the networks are not looking so they don't have to act like the care about the Flag anymore.

Hope someone got a screen grab, can't do it here.

The Singing Senators ... they finally replaced the effeminite tenor of Jim Jeffords. Look forward to a resounding sendup of "Elvira". Again.

The celeberities are Arnold Schwarzenegger. Rudy Guiliani. Zell Miller. A slew of young stars like Bill Owens, Tim Pawlenty, George Allen, etc. etc. Superstars like Dick Cheney. Megastar George W. Bush. The GOP has all the young talent. It has all the players. We don't need John Mellenkamp or Glenn Close.

Brit's panel is worn out and sparkless. Brit does his best, but nothing can help this quartet. Fred has lost his cutting edge, Mort is getting more senile every day. Maura just parrots the lib line. Kristol is a grinning jackass.

Each uses a thousand words to say what could be said in a hundred. Even then, the observations are less than mediocre.

Yes, Fox now has a more liberal face all day long. But worse than that, it's getting boring. If I see Lanny Davis and the Ostrich once more, I'll do a Dean.

Leni

Idiot Chris Matthews suggests that Cheney is the Cobra and Edwards is the mongoose, and in a debate, Matthews has his money on the mongoose.

Hollywood does not help the DIMS anyway. Not after the Woopie fiasco. The shine is off their star , it is not like the golden era..all of America know the stars of this generation are nothing more than druggies and sluts.

It makes the Dems seem out of touch if you ask me..hob nobbing with the rich and famous and vulgar.

We shouldn't play that game. The Left started that against us in the 1940s and 50s with creeps like Daniel Bell, Laski and certain Marxist academics of the Frankfurt School. The aftereffects of those attacks you witnessed today. It's an evil way to attempt blunting a political challenge, and the Left has been awfully effective at it for decades.

The ideology is not the mental illness, it's holding on to it long after failure that is odd behavior. The Marxists of today are no different than Scottish Jacobins, Bonapartists and would-be Romanovs.

However, the politics of pathology practiced by the Democrats is not "liberalism", just a noxious brew of State Socialism wrapped up in kleptomania and a fascist sense of power. The ideology only serves as a path to power--the illness, meantime, is separate.

I love campaign Carl. I saw him picking up an American flag off of the ground and say they were all over the floor. It made me sad.

That's about when I started noticing the NC world changing. At the time, I didn't realize the implications. I just knew something was off, from the NC of my childhood. It sure happened fast in that state.

I can't think of one mentally healthy person who has been at that has spoken at this convention.

Anyway, good night! ;)

Here's one to ponder: If Howard Dean had never screamed like a deranged psycho on LSD, how different would this convention have been?

This one seems like that mental ward scene from "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", after nurse Ratched turned off the TV and played elevator music over the intercom. LOL!

Hey you! Glad to see you apparently still have both eyes.

I have a question. Did any FReepers keep track of how many votes Kucinich got? Was down at the local bar and was ROTFLMAO when he got six votes from North Carolina!

Al Sharpton is one sane man. He is calculatedly FOS, and knows it. How else could he parlay his act to such heights?

Which is scary, but Al (unlike JJ, who isn't all there) knows his boundaries.

On that happy note, I guess I should offer you a good night. :D

"She said something like people in TN voted for Bush with high expectations of what he would do (but hasn't done). She thinks TN will go for Kerry this time.."

Heck, in 2000 I planned to do alot of things that weren't possible after 9-11. Someone should point out to her that she and her loved ones are still alive and free which is a danged sight more than what Osama had in store for us by this time. She can thank President Bush for that.

Don't forget, she is a diehard dem or she wouldn't be a delagate to the convention. She isn't an uncommitted or swing vote.... probably wasn't in 2000 either.

Couldn't agree with you more, with over 200 cable/satellite channels the talent is spread way too thin and the morals and lifestyles that Hollyweirders lead is anything but 'average american'. This election is as much against big media and Hollyweird as it is about filling the Supreme Court justices vacancies. The future of America is at stake, goodness must win !

College tuition.

Figures, since public education is such a failure we should now guarantee more more free years and watch the miracle of government incompetence.

On a lighter note, I am watching Dan Quayle's acceptance speech at the 1988 convention...he was far better looking than Edwards :)

Leni, nobody delivers better nuts and bolts political analysis into a short package than Michael Barone, nobody produces the Fred Barnes "street cred" better than Bill Sammon, Mara is OK but other lefties are better, and folks like Hugh Hewitt, Terry Jeffries, Alan Keyes, Laura Ingraham, P.J. O'Rourke, John McIntryre etc. are FAR more dialed and/or interesting in that any of the tired old first call from the ROLODEX-stuck old media pundits hired today. All of them are fresher, more knowledgable and more interesting than Mort, Fred, Charles, Juan and all else on all other .
