Ashley Bell, President, College Democrats of America ... {HERE'S a direct quote from Mr. Bell about the Republican candidate for Governor of Louisiana, Bushs personal Do Boy Bobby Jindal...Arab American and the Republicans token attempt to mend bridges long burnt with the Arab American community. Bell never appologized for nor recognized the bigotry of this remark.]
Wyclef Jean, Reggae singer, ... "If I Was President ...." with the refrain, "If I was elected on a Friday ... sign a peace on Saturday ,,, bring the troops home on Sunday." ... [THE VALUE of a presentation like this is it shows the Democrat mindset. Snap your fingers, and all is done. The real world doesn't work that way. Never has, never will.] This bigot and fool is a law student at LSU,
Jesse Jackson ... a million black votes cast but not counted ... [BALD FACED lie.] ... every child has a constitutional right to a high quality, equal, public education ... [THE CONSTITUTION says no such thing. The National Edukashun Association says that, to protect their dues.] ... [in the Jackson video that preceeded his speech, he actually said, ..."pastors who are prophets, not profiteers" ... THIS from one of the nation's most successful "religious" profiteers, ever?] ... John Edwards stands in the gap between rich and poor ... black and white ... grits and gravy ... [IS ANYONE taking this seriously?] ... in 96 days, bark clouds will roll away ... children will cheer ... [OR ALTERNATIVELY, there is no joy in Mudville / Mightly Casey has struck out.] ... it's time to bring our troops home, and send Bush back to Texas ... keep hope alive ... [CLICK your heels together three times, close your eyes, and say, 'There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home.]
Mayor Martin O'Malley (Baltimore) ... goes back to JFK in 1962 ... our responsiblity is one of decision, for to govern is to choose ... talks about the 60% immagrants, one-fifth free blacks, who defended themselves and the nation (in the Battle of Fort McHenry) ... at end, tries to match Teddy McKeldin's nominating speech for Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1952 ...
N.M. Secretary of Education Veronica Garcia ... another "I was born a poor black child."
Rep. Greg Meeks (N.Y.) ... another poor black child speech, except this one was a poor black child ... a new direction in policy to make America dafer ... [YEH, BUT what IS that new direction?] ... I have seen him interact with other Vietnam veterans ... [HAS HE seen Kerry "interact" with the 200 Vietnam Veterans who are demonstrating outside the hall RIGHT NOW with the message that Kerry is "Unfit to Serve"? Or is he ignorant of the views of a majority of all Vietnam Vets, whom Kerry called "war criminals."?] ... the values and the vision to let America be America, again ... [WHICH values? Homsexual marriage? Open borders? Flag burning? Those values?]
[musical interlude of "Living in America" ... video of delegates showcases the rhythm-impaired white people ... one white woman had the rhythm ... all the rest missed it, just the blacks and Hawaiians had it right.]
Sen. Harry Reid (Nev.) ... coal miner's son in Search Light, Nevada, "poor, black child" ... sampler quoting Roosevelt, 'We Can, We Will, We Must" ...
Rep. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) ... we, who built this country ... all types of workers ... who build the bridges, who sleep under the bridges ... to transform us with the power of the human spirit ... left, right center, we are one ... [THIS is beyond parody. It is s self-parody.] ... we will carry America for Kerry, and Kerry will carry America for us ... {WHAT the Hell does that mean? If anything?] .. the engaging brilliance of Bill Clinton .... the history of progress in America was written by the Democrat Party ... [THE PARTY DIDN'T exist until 1828, and a lot of progress happened before then ... Of course, during the Civil War, the Democrats were in favor of splitting the Union and maintaining slavery -- that's progress?] ... give John Kerry the chance to restart the 21st century ... Courage, America, Courage, America, John Kerry, America ... [HAS he forgotten that Dan Rather tried that courage bit and chucked it years ago?]
Brian McKnight ... slightly jazzy version of the SSB , delegates wave at his request , still no singing, don't they know the words?
Rep. Elijah Cummings (Md.) ... call to order ... another poor black child speech ... he was one ... I have a special message to anyone who attempts to keep us from voting this year ... [SHOULD have categories for the the lies ... this is part of THE FLORIDA LIE.] ... terrorists are not the only threat that we face ... compares failure to provide quality health care, and failure to properly educate all of our children ... [THE HEALTH LIE, followed by THE SCHOOL LIE] ,,, our nation deserves more than political slogans and soundbites ... [HAS he been listening to THIS Convention, for instance?] ... again, the "most important election of out lives" claim ...
[Video clip of a Vietnam Veteran from Denver, who says that his post supports John Kerry] ... double shots in the Vietnam drinking game for everyone listening to the festivities.]

Al Sharpton ... to answer the questions that Bush raised in his speech last Friday (to the National Urban League) ... mentions that Crispus Attucks was the first to die in the Boston Massacre ... look at the view of our nation, worldwide ... [IF THAT were the criteria, we never would have fought the Germans, or the Japanese ... what a putz,] ... if George Bush had selected the Court in 1954, Clarence Thomas would never have gotten into law school ... [GIG AUDIENCE reaction to this gross but unusual LIE] ... no one gave them an English test before they sent them to Iraq to fight for America ... [ACTUALLY, they did. No one gets into the US Military who cannot read and write English. But most of the Democrats are too clueless to know that.] ... Ducked, rather than faced, Bush's point that both Lincoln and Frederick Douglass were Republicans ... I'll ride this donkey as far as it will carry us ... read my lips, our vote is not for sale ... another "poor black child speech" ... [FIRST standing ovation ...] ... let's make America beautiful again ... [SEGUES into Ray Charles version of "America the Beautiful."]
Sen. Bob Graham (Fla.) ... ignorant comparison of the time since 9/11 and the time since Pearl Harbor ... [THIS GUY keeps notebooks on what he ate for breakfast. Hasn't he ever opened a history book?] ... they will carry the war on terror anywhere it needs to be fought ... [ISN'T Iraq included in the phrase anywhere?] ... in the war on terror we have not yet secured the beachneads ... [DIDN'T this aging fool noticed that Afganistan and Iraq were both freed from tyrannies?]
Gov. Ed Rendell (Pa.) ... leads off with "energy independence" ... [ANWAR, Energy Bill stalled for three years?] ... we must declare our independence again, our ENERGY independence ... [FORMER Mayor of Philadelphia actually trivializes the Declaration of Indepence to that degree, amazing.] ...
John Mellencamp ... first real entertainment ... and the delegates get out American flags and start waving them
Gov. Bill Richardson (N.M.) ... moment in the sun for the "Hispanic" Richardson ...
Live Convention Video, 9 - 11 p.m. ET firefighters for Kerry intoduce Granholm
Gov. Jennifer Granholm (Mich.) ... imagine yourself in Boston, 231 years ago ... the Boston Tea Party ... brewed by patriots ... where the average man mattered as must as kings, lords, governors ... launch the rebellion to choose a new President, John Kerry ... workers are losing their jobs, and the new jobs pay less ... [BOTH points are flat out false as anyone can readily establish.]
Retired Lt. General Claudia Kennedy [MY POWER failed at this point. Will have to complete these notes tomorrow.]
Or hold public office. The last three Democrat Party offerings for President could mark up a pocket guide copy of the DSM-V awful quick.
I think that amounts to Hume saying "Shep, don't get caught. Remember: subtlety."
It's a shame that the dems have to steal lines from us Republicans. Especially when you consider that they have some group called the 'Creative Coalition'. You'd figure this group can at least create some useful lines for their team.
McEnroe beat Connors 31-20 head to head over their careers. One of the ugliest asskickings in Wimbeldon history was McEnroe's 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 pancaking of Connors in the 84 final.
Don't diss Mac. The only guy he couldn't beat was Lendl.
He certainly has an axe to grind with pro-lifers and anti gay marriage guests on his shows. When interviewing, he throws softball questions at the pro-abortion and gay marriage advocates while being hostile and combative with those believing in the sanctity of human life and the traditional family. His bias is obvious.
I think that if Dean hadn't self destructed, Terry McAuliffe would have shot him before new hampshire.
Did she have throat cancer at one time or is that her natural voice?
"I can't wait to be King!"
Which Baldwin is this?
Gasp! FNC just sent out the following email News Alert:
"JOHN KERRY GETS DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION"
Hey now, wait a minute !
On a good night Susan Estrich's gravely voice sounds much like Charley Rangel's.
Shep can be a riot somethings.
He has to tone down frequently (probably gets memoes from management).
He has fun. Sometimes, he can do a touch interview. I've seen him tear into some interviewees. He doesn't do it often, but he can do it.
Hell, YEAH!
Who is the Indian woman from North Dakota "SAKKAKAWEA"?
Emails have been sent.
Billy Baldwin...
Exactly. Show the tapes and the dates. Then have voiceover say something about the dems innability to come up with
ONE original idea.
Brad "Gambler" Henry...WHAT A BOZO!
