I don't want to spoil the end of the roll call for anyone, but I think Kerry wins it.

yeah, but the media loves to tear down the very same men that they just built up. this man will go "splat". there's nothing there.
YEs but whn you have Mr. Kristol on FNC saying that Edwards speech was hawkish and was one of the strongest speechs for American defense coming from the Democrates since JFK...it makes me want to f'ing puke..
HEY MR. KRISTOL....EDWARDS CAN SAY WHAT HE WANTS BUT WHAT ABOUT THE VOTING RECORD???????????????

I watched Edwards' speech very closely. It of course was well delivered, and the guy exudes energy. But the problem is that this is the speech that sold in the 50's (class warfare lite), and does not sell very well in the new century. The middle class swing voters are skeptical that all gain, no pain, financed by soaking the rich, either pencils or is realistic. Edwards had a chance to modulate himself a bit, and seem more reflective, more seasoned by wisdom, about what he has learned, and note that while there are hard choices, he knows what choices are right because ... , and be a bit more specific about a couple of key issues. The unremitting all gain, no pain, message, is a symphony without modulation. It in the end is like a food that pleases, but never fills.
Edwards blew his chance. No gravitas, no verisimilitude of the believable, in an nation that has nationalized Missouri, and become the "show me" nation. Advantage Bush. So far, only Clinton has drawn blood. Can Kerry do it, the only Dracula in the play that in the end really counts? Stay tuned.
And stay tuned to whether the talking heads think it sheer unadulterated poetry. I typed this out before they had a chance to chime in.

The whole thrust of his foreign policy related comments were practically direct quotes from BUSH!?!?!
Frankly, I expected better.

I think we're all starting to get a clearer picture of just what a Kerry-Edwards White House will be like. Constant con artist carnival barker pitches for Big Government socialism followed by Rap HipHop circuses for the zombified bribed masses.
What a vision?
To: Vision Thing
actually I'll probably crash early.. this convention is vey wearing if followed too seriesly .. lol

Mara is saying he gave a "great speech." In all objectivity, that is simply false. In all objectivity, this was not a great speech. It was not even a good one. Is Mara dumb, or blinded by her partisanship, or is she consciously lying to support the cause?

4 delegates from North Carolina just voted for Dennis Kucinich! How embarassing! It's like when Gore loss Tennessee.

The Libs remind me of the kids in high school desperately trying to mimic the 'cool kids' and failing miserably.
It's becoming difficult to even laugh at this pathetic scene.
They are far more entertaining when they are themselves. That's why Al scored tonight. LOL
