He has spent a majority of his years as reserve officer, not all of his time has been as an active duty Marine.
He has been doing investment banking for years, probably knows John Corzine I bet, amongst others thru his chosen profession, sounds like the Marine thing is more a political tool for him versus what it's true purpose is.

I think that was a very deliberate choice of words. It was damning with faint praise.

I'm joining the thread late this evening ... and Rev Al is on - haven't read a thing - so a completely unbias (at least from other freepers) point of view. Unitl Democrats learn how the speak the American language like Americans and not like some primate, inner city thugs they have no hope in hell in gaining power again. Yeah, that is right, remember we own the Senate, we own the House, we own the Executive Branch, another 4 years and we will have the Supremes for a generation. That is what is on the line.
