I don't understand why people keep posting that stupid picture.

Why? Here's why:

There are a number of people out there that believe the above photo of Dukakis looking like a complete dweeb singlehandedly cost him the election. I wouldn't go quite that far myself, but it is without question the photo hurt him a lot. People took one look at that picture and thought, "This guy wants to command our armed forces? I don't think so."

The Kerry Enema photo is the Dukakis Tank picture of 2004. I hope it's plastered everywhere you look from now until Election Day.

Since Dukakis lost in a land slide, the referenced photo cannot be singularly attributed to his loss. But let's hope this one does cost Brear Kerry the election:

I don't think that it was the photo. It was the news footage of Dukakis riding in the tank and waving to supporters as if he was a seven-year-old in the Dumbo ride at Disneyland. That footage was used in a Bush/Quayle campaign ad with superimposed text of a statement that he had made about reducing military spending.

Daddy! Daddy! Look, it's the Michael Dukakis bobble-head doll!

No, son. That's the real Michael Dukakis.

What was so hilarious about Dukakis in the tank was the way his ear protector flaps would stand straight out when the tank whirled around. I think that picture did a lot to keep him from being elected. The dims are trying to find things to ridicule Bush about in the same way. A lot of people don't look any closer at the candidate than that.
