Image of Kerry Disrupts Carefully Choreographed Photo-Op

PHILADELPHIA - When Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) visited the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday, his campaign hoped that the backdrop of the famed shuttle launch site would evoke images of exploration and science.
Instead, the photo that was splashed across the nation's largest tabloid newspapers was less than statesmanlike: Kerry, dressed in a hooded "bunny suit," peering out of the hatch that leads to the space shuttle.
The reaction was merciless. Under a banner headline that read "Spaceman Kerry's goofy photo flub," the New York Post suggested that Kerry looked like the sperm character Woody Allen played in his 1972 comedy, "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex."

ROTFLAFMOAPMGO!!!!!!!
Uh...what does that stand for?
I'll try my hand at deciphering. rolling on the floor laughing - - - - puking my guts out. The middle is beyond my ken.
The bunny suit burst out of the closet and threw itself onto the capitulator ?
Ralphie in his pink bunny suit was the first thing I thought of too.
President Bush in flight suit next to Kerry in bunny suit. Please, please. Clever freepers, please put them together for us.
The Left went nuts with flight suit envy screaming bloody murder every time it appeared. We need to show it in every thread.
The Left tells us we can't show President Bush in the rubble of the twin towers, nor in his flight suit, nor holding the platter of turkey in Iraq. And we let them constrain us.
We should display every good picture of President Bush several times, in every thread right up till Nov. 2.
It is disgusting that the lying Left attempts to besmirch our symbols so that we are too timid to use them. The lying Left should not ordain what we will honor and respect.
And it was a real turkey on that platter, not plastic, but they got their lie out. Nothing is too petty and dishonest for them.
Ralphie was second for me. Woody Allen's sperm character was first.
That photo looks fine, that's a person the seems to actually work at NASA and not doing a silly photo-op just so he can say he "supports space" while he plans to evicerate NASA's budget for social welfare spending.
"Houston, we have a problem".
sw
Not an Allen fan so did not compute - does now of course.
Thank you so much for the picture. Freepers are the nicest people.
BLESSED TO READ THAT.
Found myself praying recently--yesterday, I think--that Kerry would lose MA AND COLO AND LORD, PLEASE, FLORIDA, TOO IN ADDITION TO MOST ALL THE OTHERS. I want him and his values severely humiliated this election.
And, Lord, give Scuba such dreams and nightmares that he pulls out of public life entirely and perhaps resorts to sucking his thumb in a mental hospital somewhere if he will not repent and submit to your priorities and will, Oh, Lord!
or maybe he will wear the bunny suit during his acceptance speech
But buried in mainstream newspapers. In this morning's New York Times, for example, a small less ridiculous version of Kerry's NASA escapade is depicted on the bottom of section B2. USA Today also has a tiny cropped photograph interred deep in the paper.
It's not the suit that looks stupid.
Whats the matter with you, are you French? That is the greatest slam against a politician since Dukakis in the army tank. I can't get enough of it myself. I hope someone e-mails it to me so can send it to the libs on my e-mail list. (I am a techophobe so I can't figure out how to do it myself)
HE BLEW IT!....with his whining that they leaked his bunny pictures!
I heard someone on FOX say Kerry never voted for their programs anyway.
And even Bill Nelson..(who is not a favorite of mine) seems embarrassed with the Kerry whining and targeting of NASA. Bill has to still live here (kinda/sorta) in Brevard County, and he was with Kerry when the whole photo op took place, and said it was everyday stuff.... they film all dignitaries when they show up.
