Kerry just flubbed the opening pitch at the Yanks-Sox game

Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

OMG.....ESPN is getting a HUGE scathing email from me for giving this putz a forum, and from all my family members as well when I tell them about this.

Pete Rose? The dumbass doesn't even know who he is.

BOSTON - John Kerry (news - web sites) made a surprise appearance at the Yankees-Red Sox baseball game Sunday night to throw out the opening pitch to a soldier home from Iraq

Kerry didn't find it necessary to visit the troops in Iraq, so he waits till they come back. What a putz

I can't wait to see the replay of Kerry getting booed and the Pitch that fell short.

That will be legacy of John Kerry's run for the Presidency in 2004......

How many "Red Sox" fans would wear the Yankees' colors to throw out the first pitch of a Red Sox v Yankees game?!

As bad as I'd feel for that Guardsman, I'd luuuuuv for this to turn out to be true. OK, serious question: If kerry wasn't expected to be at the game, just who was supposed to throw out the first pitch?

Regular season games usually don't have somebody throw out the first pitch. It's possible, however, that all three games in this series (since it's a high profile matchup) had somebody throw out the first pitch, but at any rate, if it happened Friday and Saturday, they didn't show it on TV. Of course, John F'ing Kerry not only got the TV exposure, but he also is being interviewed on ESPN now during the game! I don't know what is making me hurl more -- my Yankees losing, or Kerry's ugly mug being on TV now.

Free media coverage. Doesn't want to make a statement on Rose and the Hall of Fame. He is against the designated hitter, but didn't go into why. I don't think his knowledge of baseball is very deep. Talks in cliches. He needs more Botox.
