The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

No, here's the gig:

It's not potential hijackers, it's just a bunch of misunderstood Syrian rock 'n roll musicians ...

It's not REALLY a power outage, it's just squirrels ...

It's not toxic brown pellets on that bus in Canada (a few months ago) it's fruit cake crumgs ...

It's not chemical WMD's poured into those warheads in Iraq, it's just a l'il harmless pesticide ...

And, I'm peddaling pieces of the Brooklyn bridge! ;)

Here's something strange too, along the same lines. I have comcast for both my ISP and my cable tv. Last night my tv was constantly "defragging" that is, the image was disolving into it's digital pixels onscreen. It would slow waaaay down and freeze as the image broke up. That has never happened to me before with this provider. Today, I try to sign into the comcast site and I couldn't get the log-in box to appear. That also has never happened. Even a refresh wouldn't work. I had to approach the comcast site from outside like a new subscriber would. Then it worked fine.

Former Somalian First Lady Dies In Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The former first lady of Somalia, Dalayad Haji Hashi Jama, has died in Columbus at the age of 72, family members said Wednesday.

They said Jama died in her apartment on Monday of complications from diabetes.

Jama was married to former Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre for 45 years. After he died in exile in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1995, she joined eight of her children in Columbus, which has the second largest Somali population in the United States.

Police: Missing Trailer Found; Toxic Cargo Still Unaccounted For (Update to Missing Truck Trailer in Florida this week)

POSTED: 8:13 am EDT July 29, 2004 MIAMI -- Police found a missing truck trailer Wednesday, but the hazardous chemicals that were reportedly inside are still missing.

Officers said they found the trailer at 216th Street and Southwest 167th Avenue after a passerby called police. It had reportedly been painted black and was empty.

The manifest of the trailer indicated it had been packed with 1,000 pounds of caustic chemicals and corrosive liquids, police said earlier this week when the trailer was stolen from the side of the Florida Turnpike near Okeechobee Road. The driver left the trailer there while he delivered another trailer, police said.

After it was taken, Detective Robert Williams said the thief likely did not know what was inside. Williams also said he didn't believe the chemicals could be made into a bomb.

I also remember some jihadi type message early last year where it said something like: usama changed (or has) a new vehicle. There were plenty of major and minor attacks after that one.

The watchman's warning that you referred to in your post that I replied to. I think you said "Watchman's warning" or something similar. I would guess it involved NYC because you were responding in your post to a post about the new jakel pic with what looks like mid-town NYC. There are quite a few warnings, etc., I know. I either missed or can't recall the one referred to as "watchman."

Re # 2366

Thanks for the follow-up. So the truck was found but the chemicals are missing.

Trying to think positive here...

Could this have been a run-of-the-mill theft? The thief wanted the truck and just dumped the chemicals somewhere?

A darker thought...

Caustic chemicals/corrosive liquids....sounds like these could be used to make something really nasty.

'WMD' smuggled into U.S. from Mexico
worldnetdaily ^ | July 29, 2004 | WND

Posted on 07/29/2004 10:55:00 AM PDT by VU4G10

An independent border-watch group claims it demonstrated the nation's vulnerability by sneaking into the United States a fake weapon of mass destruction.

Two members of Arizona-based American Border Patrol, or ABP, carried a suitcase in a backpack from Mexico into Arizona July 19.

The group said the men crossed a border fence then went to a house in Sierra Vista, Ariz., without detection.

The event was captured on video, which is available on the group's website.

"While the 'WMD' contained nothing but foam rubber, American Border Patrol performed the mission to demonstrate how a terrorist might bring a real WMD into the U.S.," the group stated.

"We were careful in making this video to avoid giving terrorists any aid in performing a real mission," said Glenn Spencer, the group's president.

Spencer emphasized his group "did not seek to embarrass the Border Patrol but to point out the need for more resources."

ABP technical director Mike King, a former Army sniper, and the group's director of operations, Mike Christie, carried out the operation.

King told the Arizona Daily Star he hopes it will convince Washington that the country's southern border is a national security risk.

"I mean, you have people with backpacks, bottles of water and zero training coming across," he said. "I just wanted to show how easy this is for somebody with training to come into this country."

The paper said the Mexican government might file a formal complaint with the U.S. government.

In a statement yesterday, American Border Patrol said its crew reports it may "inadvertently" have strayed a short distance into Mexico during the mission. Their intent, however, was to stay on the U.S. side, noting fences along the border are well inside U.S. territory.

I vaguely recall a car make cited somewhere in that message. But it might not have had anything to do with an auto; it might have signified that usama had a new means of transportation; that usama had new digs; that usama had decided to approve a hit unlike one that had been done before, etc.

It also may have been very specific for that time period and may no longer hold any water for us now. It is interesting though, all the phrases and words they put together. A big, interesting puzzle. Figuring out some pieces of the puzzle can and probably do prevent attacks.

It also appears that some of the flames are directed at Wall Street.

No doubt. The dopes believe a few offices in New York are "the economy" of the U.S.
