That just about tips the Dems' hand - against all the advice of experienced political handlers they are going to turn the Democratic Party convention into an anti-Bush hatefest. It's a simply a remarkably stupid idea, even for them.

It will not enable Kerry to draw a contrast between himself and the foaming-at-the-mouth Moore wing of the party. But it will allow Hillary an opportunity to position herself as representing the "sane" wing of the party.
