How many Visa's did mexico get? Let me guess...Ummmm 11,000,000?
Bangladesh, Nigeria, Poland and Ethiopia
Well at least Poland isn't a terrorism risk for us.
hmmmmm... why are Canadians and Britians coming here? Perhaps they want to get paid what they're worth for the work that they do? So much for socialism...
This is a very important program. We are running out of poor people, we need to import them now or our country will lack diversity.
This whole visa lottery program is an outrageous assault on America. The main instigator of the program ten years ago was ... Ted Kennedy (that's a fact).
I know one Japanese woman who was married to an African. They were living in Japan. The husband insisted his wife apply for the lottery (she wasn't really interested). She won a visa, so she and her husband immigrated. Now the husband, who's a permanent resident, has brought in over one dozen of his relatives after petitioning for their visas. They all live in one slum-house. This kind of "cascading immigration" based on the original entry of just one family member is what's turning many of our urban areas into third world tenements.
Just what we need - more third-world illiterates.
This is just wrong.
Most of them were in the subway car I rode home to Brooklyn on.
Bangladesh is a country that needs leaving.
We still do this? What a waste of time and money.
If the borders are not controlled, why bother?
That said, I do think we should reward our steadfast allies, such as Poland, visaless entry.

AMAZING.......9.5 Million applicants (in TWO months) wanting to come to the USA to work & live LEGALLY......& only 50K get a chance.
Meanwhile 75% of our politicians spend much time & tax dollars *rewarding* the MILLIONS of illegals already here.......& citizens are told daily "we need all those illegal workers, the country *can't function* without them".
Boot the illegals, & bring in more legals, *if* we need the labor.
Well,I for one am happy about the last statistic.
The odd thing about where I live in Seattle is the large number of Somalians and Ethiopians I have encountered here.
