Just days after getting booted from the Aladdin Hotel Casino for praising Moore as "patriot" and dedicating her encore song, "Desperado," to him, Ronstadt is already entertaining offers of a comeback.
On Wednesday, one of the prospective new owners of the Aladdin, Robert Earl, issued a statement of support for Ronstadt.
"We respect artists' creativity and support their rights to express themselves," Earl said. "We were very sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances of this past Saturday night and want to make it clear that Planet Hollywood has never, in our 13 year history, restricted any artists' right to free speech and we will continue with that policy once we take ownership

This sounds like really a bad business decision IMHO. They should just let it be..
Then, good-hard-workin' Americans who believe in their country should boycott these hippy-dippy, unpatriotic establishments. Then we'd see whether these losers can actually make their own little world go 'round. I'm betting against it (but at another establishment).
These idiots need to go read the 1st Amendment, where it clearly states that ONLY GOVERNMENT may not restrict freedom of speech.
After twelve months with popularity ratings rivaling Leftist Talk radio, the ownership will probably change again.
Details anyone?
Morons.

Ok, thanks for the warning. It gets 4 **** on Expedia.
Memo to self: Add to list.
Done with Planet Hollywood. Libs can frequent and keep the doors open.
Hope they fold.
speaking of lists, does FR keep an ongoing list of lib entertainers so I know who to avoid?
The Planet Hollywood people have bought a casino that is out of date and ill suited to compete with the mega-resort properties developed more recently. This appears to be an attempt by the new owners to create publicity through controversy. They are looking for anything that will generate a buzz about the property, and hopefully increase the number of visitors.
As the ownership of the casinos becomes more concentrated in Las Vegas the marginal players, and Planet Hollywood will be a marginal player, will have to try and carve out niches. Maybe the niche Planet Hollywood will go after is the burnt out relics of the 1960's.
FYI--Planet Hollywood will not be the new owner of the Aladdin...Robert Earl (CEO of PH) will personally be a part owner. He and his partner have simply gained the licensing rights to use the Planet Hollywood name. Also, Starwood owns a very insignificant ownership interest (15%) in the property and thus won't have any decision power.
It would probably be easier to compile a list of conservative entertainers. It would be one short list.
The liberal list would look like the Dead Sea Scrolls
Speaking of lists, my sh*tlist keeps growing everytime one of these losers opens their mouths.
You have that correct! I will never, NEVER EVER stay at the Alladin, eat at Alladin, gamble at the Alladin, eat at Planet Hollywood.
Exactly right.
They're going bankrupt. Planet Hollywood is owned by Hollywood stars. They've had to close many of their properties around the world, and aren't doing well in Vegas. The Hip crowd goes to the Hard Rock Cafe here.
Her rights were NOT violated. God, these leftist don't have a brain cell left! She got booted BECAUSE she expressed herself and management rightly thought that her outburst could potentially hurt their business and reputation.
People go to shows, buy tickets for shows, to be entertained, not to hear some artists personal political views. If they want to spew political views, they should advertise their shows as such:
"One Night Only! Linda Ronstadt Gives Her Political Views - and Oh Yeah, She Will Also Sing"
