BRAVE NEW SCHOOLS Teacher has kids tasting flavored condoms Government agency backs instructor over 9th-grade girl's mom

© 2004 WorldNetDaily.com The New Mexico Health Department is standing behind a sex-education teacher in Santa Fe who encouraged ninth-graders to taste flavored condoms. According to a report in the Santa Fe New Mexican, parent Lisa Gallegos said that when her 15-year-old daughter balked at putting a condom in her mouth, instructor Tony Escudero told her, "Come on, sweetie, have a little fun."
Also, Gallegos quotes her daughter as saying when a male student expressed his disgust with homosexual activity, Escudero said, "Never say never, because you never know. Someday you might like it that way." "I agree with sex ed 100 percent," Gallegos, whose daughter attends Santa Fe High School, told the paper. "I also teach it here at my home. But I think that was inappropriate and wrong 100 percent." According to the report, Dorothy Danfelser, deputy director for the public-health division of the state Health Department, said she wrote Gallegos last week to say Escudero did nothing wrong. "It had been investigated," Danfelser told the New Mexican. "There was no wrongdoing. I have no more comment. ... (Gallegos) may or may not agree with that, but that's her prerogative." Both Danfelser and Escudero claim this was the first complaint he has received about his presentation, which he has been doing for years. "He didn't really tell them to just put (condoms) in their mouth," Danfelser said. "What he does, basically, in his classes, depending on the age appropriateness of the class, is to try to get them ... used to condoms and kind of destigmatize them. "He tells them, if they're comfortable, they can open up the packages, they can touch them, they can stretch them out and those kind of things. And he has told them, if they're the flavored kind, they can go ahead and taste them if they want to. But it's generally to desensitize the whole stigma of 'Oh my God, it's a condom.'"

Okay, lemme get this straight.
Let's expose and see if liberals agree that an issue is true education or, an agenda they're putting forth.
Substitute the word 'Gun Safety'/'Gun's' for 'condom'.
Now, let's re-visit the issue and the article for all the liberals and those that vote (D), and educate the pip-squeks:

Both Danfelser and Escudero claim this was the first complaint he has received about his presentation, which he has been doing for years.
"He didn't really tell them to fire the weapons," Danfelser said. "What he does, basically, in his classes, depending on the age appropriateness of the class, is to try to get them ... used to guns and kind of destigmatize them.
"He tells them, if they're comfortable, they can open up the ammunition packages, they can touch them, they can lay them out and those kind of things. And he has told them, if he has the ammunition that fits the weapon in class, they can go ahead and load them, with my supervision, if they want to. But it's generally to desensitize the whole stigma of 'Oh my God, it's a gun.'"
Hmmmm. Turn about is fair play.

"Hey, at least he wasn't wearing them at the time." One step at a time. You don't have to have a crystal ball to see the future here.

I like your article better. Oooooh, I know! Let's get a New Mexico PS teacher to try a gun safety class and gauge the administration's response versus your fictional tale. Any volunteers? Anyone willing to be fired in a heartbeat and blackballed nationwide? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Wasn't that an amazing show? I don't know what the age of consent is in South Dakota, but the governor had every right to pull that website off the official state website.
What amazed me (not really) is that the Planned Parenthood woman would not take calls from the audience. All she could do was yammer on about the fact that kids are bombarded constantly with sexual messages. Well, yes, they are, and her site and organization don't help matters.
My niece went to a county fair in Maryland. Planned Parenthood had a booth. People manning the booth actually ran after my niece and her friends and thrust condoms at them.

"I believe the young lady who objected has a case against the teacher for sexual harassment, under the provisions of Title IX."
But Title IX also says, in various indirect ways, that "males" (as we know that all men are animals) must submit to the health department goddesses and teach kids how to want to have sex before marriage.
Either get rid of feminism or welcome the expansion of our national whorehouse. It's all about "sexual freedom."
Why condone things like adultery to set the current single mom example for kids and try to condemn other sins?
We can teach our kids the difference between right and wrong if we'll stop being hippiecrits, don't you think?

Why should there be? Most people who call themselves liberals or conservatives worship men like Rupert Murdoch, who can afford to trade his old ladies in for chicks who are forty years younger. So we just keep bashing the men whose wives divorce them for men like Rupert. ...make sense? No?
Then we should get right with our Father.

If this man did this and he wasn't a teacher, he'd be thrown in jail, so why is he allowed to do it in school, hiding behind a teacher's mask? Disgusting!!!

Hey, at least he wasn't wearing them at the time. That's tenth grade. But seriously, I'm afraid we'd be stringing up the teacher, the principal, and the school board if that happened here.

You mentioned Planned Parenthood chasing the girls. The following is very relevant to that. ...just about every kind of feminist organization participating in the events--even some who otherwise hold themselves up as being "conservative" or "Christian."
