In light of recent comments by John Kerry "If I am elected president and the recommendations of the 9/11 commision are not in place, I will call an emergency session of congress to put them in place"
This is an opportunity the White House cannot pass up. The President should call an emergency session of congress to implement 9/11 commision recommendations immediately. Let the Democrats complain that it is political calling an emergency session on the eve of the DNC convention and all Bush has to say this is Leadership, this needs to happen now to make america safer. These recommendations are not partisan.
Although I have not read the report fully, I am sure that there are some measures in the report that the Dems may not want implemented and any "no" vote will sure to get the american publics attention prior to NOV 02.

That was a near thing. Welcome back and be careful. Hope we caused no offense. The Road Kill Beeber Association exists to shovel dirt and etc. on trolls and other evildoers and it would have been a shame to have a friendly fire incident.
