Seems black and white to me. Charge him, or parole all spies.

You don't mean to tell me that the Klontoon administration might have known about vulnerabilities at our airports? I am sure Berger was only trying to keep his ole buddy Bill from having any blemish on his administration.

Kinda late for that don't you think?

Check out the July 20 story in the NY Times. About four paragraphs long, the gist is mistakes were made, everything was returned, so sorry, now just move on.

I expect this to be the standard story in all print media tommorrow, if it gets any play at all.

This will probably go the same route as the stolen FBI files, which most likely are still in Hitlery's possession.

'Rats are above the law. No news here.

Blessings, Bobo

This is a golden opportunity to put the blame for 9/11 exactly where it belongs, piled high on the Clinton Administration. I hope the Republicans don't go all "girlie man" on us.

Mark Levin: This is why Berger stole the documents and 'lost' them

This should be a very, very big deal, and the Democrats will attempt to do everything possible to kill it. It's big because it is a crime to destroy government property, including classified documents, and to obstruct a government investigation (9/11 investigation). The information that was destroyed, to the extent we know about it thanks to Ashcroft's testimony, most likely showed the extent to which the Clinton administration failed to adopt recommended policies to fight terrorism. And my guess is that some of those recommendations must have had some relevance to stopping what would become 9/11, otherwise Berger would not have risked everything to get to them. Have a good night.

They should make him dress up like Tammy Faye Baker, make-up and all, and have him go up on stage with Algore at the Rat convention and start crying and apoligizing.

"Berger said he knowingly took handwritten notes, but inadvertently took documents. "

Mr Berger ... handwritten or otherwise, they are "documents"/

Meanwhile, a statement from the House Intelligence Committee said it has not yet been informed about the loss or theft of any classified intelligence information..."

And they are not holding their breath, at least not until after the election.

This whole story also reveals that the 9/11 comm. knew all and deliberately conspired to mislead, falsify, and twist it's knowledge to harm the current prez. Bald-faced crimminal conduct and treason by gov't officials. The entire comm. should be indcted.

I've said for weeks that it's time for the Bush/Cheney people to take the gloves off and go for the jugular. This Joe Wilson incident should have been shouted from the top of the capitol building. But, Scott McClelland, Bush Press Secretary, when pressed by a reporter telling him that Joe Wilson owed The Prez and America an apology, simply said: "Those documents speak for themselves." Geeeeesh. When you have 'em on the mat, don't let 'em back up.

It looks like few articles (no mention on FOX either) are including that Berger PUT DOCUMENTS DOWN HIS PANTS!

They allow it to sound like he accidentally gathered up these papers along with his own. Which is the point, of course.
