Lately there seems to be talk on the media about "uncontrolled government spending." The 'RATS' other talking points aren't working, so they're trying to anger those conservatives upset by expansion of government programs.

Perhaps the RNC could make an effort to explain why compromise is often needed in politics (so you can win a battle on your way to win the war). It might also help to put the deficit and spending in real/today's dollars perspective.

I would also like to see some commercials touting the successes in our War on Terror. The mainstream media certainly isn't covering that stuff.

I also believe we need more "never forget" messages out there. These could include more mention of our "civil defense/Homeland Security" successes, too.

Last, but not least, I would love to know how many who served in Viet Nam and weren't carried out on stretchers got to return home after only 3 or 4 months of service.

everyday a new batch of lies spews from Kerry & Edwards' mouths

...........and into the craven media. The media is the enemy of this nation.

I don't know how the RNC can make that clear to America without getting the media more venomous, but Bush has to set things right in the debates. Expose the media as liars, and tell America about things that haven't been reported to the general public.

I'd like to see the Democrats explain to the voting public why it is that 78 of them belong to the Democratic Socialists of America, a subchapter of the Communist Party USA. It's time to bring the Communists among us out of the closet and into the light for all to see.

Excellent idea.

Edwards is probably a member of the ABA. The ABA sposors the model law project. They publish a Model Divorce Law project which is contains proposed laws involving homosexual couple marriages. It also proposes allowing standing for visitation and custody of homosexual sex partners over non-custodial mothers and fathers. This was used by the Mass Chief Judge in formulating her opinion legalize homosexual marriage in Mass.

It would not be difficult to demonize the ABA just as the ACLU was demonized for Dukakis. Not every lawyer is or even cares about membership in the voluntary and faaaar left ABA.

The attack is all the affiliations Edward would have to have maintained in order to be refered such medical malpractice cases.

remember its

Allen Keyes to speak at the GOP convention.

Yes, Keyes is dynamite! And Michael Reagan would be great.

The RNC would do best not to do something like this. This gives Kerry and the Democrats more ammo for their AWOL charge, leaving Bush and the RNC to defend themselves, sidetracking both Bush and the RNC from actually talking about issues that really matter. Some outside organization that is backing Bush should do an ad featuring the Swift Boat Veterans. Bush shouldn't have to sink to that level and neither should the RNC.

On a lighter note, if you keep using that "Second American" phrase, they're going to start believing it exists! ;)

The media is the enemy of this nation.

Truer words were never spoken, Beyond the Sea!

Ronaldas Magnus was able to go over the heads of the traitors in the media; I pray our President and our Republicans can do as well during this election season!

Sink? I think not. You don't think that betraying your fellow soldier is an "issue that really matters"? Strange.

I'll pull the troops out: Kerry

In an interview yesterday with AP reporters and editors, he also criticised President George W Bush for damaging relations with allies. There is so much strain in those relationships now, he said, that only a new president can repair them.

The Bush and RNC commercials I have seen on TV have seemed somewhat repetitious and ineffective to me. They *must* be precise, powerful and poignant in the limited time space allotted.
They must be hard hitting while remaining civil. There must be variety and timely rotation.

Television is the most powerful medium in the history of civilization. The best, brightest, and most creative conservative minds must be brought together to make this aspect of the campaign effective.
The content, timimg, and presentation of every image and every sound counts enormously.
We have seen some very powerful imagery here ( remember the President hugging the girl who lost her father in the war?). Use them to good effect; let out all the stops.
The stranglehold of the left on visual and media information in this country must be met head on and overcome.
Whatever happens, never succumb to opposition pressure or objections to the content of media.
Timing and content are crucial. Hit them hard and keep on hitting. Make it a priority.
Spend the money wisely; make every dollar count. The high profile, the rich and famous conservatives we all look up to and admire must also step up and devote their time and energies to meet this challenge. They must be seen and heard, especially the emerging minority voices.

For those of us on the watching and listening end:
Volunteer.
Every little bit helps, even if it's just a flyer, a sign or a sticker; a t-shirt or button.

No, I did not say that, but, thanks for trying.

Have Kerry denounce his advocacy {was he in congress @ the time?} of cutting funding off to South Vietnam in 1975.

If he doesn't, extrapolate that onto what he considers a quagmire: Iraq.

Do you mean the young girl whose mother was killed on 9/11? I don't recall the father in the war picture. I could be wrong though.

Communist Vietnamese honor John Kerry, the war protestor, as a hero in their victory over the United States in the Vietnam War.

Re: NAACP rejection- have president Bush address as many conservative African American organizations as possible- those that promote family values, and business owners exc...(i.e. Niger Innis's CORE and Jesse Lee Peterson's BOND).

When he (Bush) is asked about his rejection of the NAACP he can explain that he rejects their promotion of liberalism, not the people in the organization. He could then invite/challenge the NAACP members to listen to these other voices in the community, who have much better ideas for solving the problems African Americans face.

Use the homo-marriage thing, guys. The Black and Hispanic communities agree with us

You sir, are right on target

This very issue carried in California by a 2-1 margin in 2002, despite the same voting base gives Kerry a 14 point lead in CA.
