A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

Good for you Maggie! People don't realize that the brain can literally bake and that sun coming through the window is intensified.
Both the mother and the driver should be horsewhipped!!!!!

one funny thing is that my two older sisters read what I send them, agree with what I say.
Then when I tell them it is from Rush, Bush, or any republican they all of a sudden hate it..
It's amazing to be that they can be so blind..

I served under Carter, saw one pay raise.
Bought a house with 17% prime rate.
I should have woken up then.
I did vote for Reagan though, made a mistake and voted Perot later.
the rest of course is history..

"Among the features peculiar to the political system of the United States, is the perfect equality of rights which it secures to every religious sect."

Everytime I hear Islamis bashing, I have to stop and remind myself that religious freedom is one of our blessings...
And that they too have the right to worship as they see fit.

Right now I wish they would use their free speech to condemn these acts of terror that their religion seems to condone.
The silence is deafening!

I have a sister in Atlanta, Rus, who is staunch Democrat. She is the only one that followed that path. My brother, the minister and my other brother, the police officer are like me, conservative to a fault.
Toni is always saying that Mikel and I are like Daddy. Yet she is the one that has cut herself off from her family like Daddy did. She, like Daddy, hears nothing but the party line. She, like Daddy is very closed minded on most subjects. Momma, for the last two elections before she died voted Republican. Momma, at least, was not closed minded about the world. My Grandparents taught my Momma to think for herself and she passed on and she could see that in Mikel, Nicky and myself. I love my sister, but she sure is stubborn, just like Daddy!!!!

The first chance I got to vote was the 2000 elections.
The 96 elections saw my barracks locked down at Fort Sill.

I get their daily quote and their bi-weekly news letter.
The Federalist Patriot
Open query...
"Will activist judges not elected by the American people
destroy the institution of marriage, or will the people
protect marriage as the best way to raise children?
My vote is with the people."

my Mom was the same, she was a democrat but she agreed with me on issues.
She often asked me before she died, "when are you gonna run for President'..
God I miss my Mom.. we had great talks, she died on my birthday 5 years ago..

Battalion Commander's orders.
I never heard the official reason for the orders, but the next day that LTC walked through and smugly told all of us that Bubba Clinton was STILL our 'commander in cheat'.
The idiot was a Bubba butt sniffer.
