Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. I have a sister in Atlanta, Rus, who is staunch Democrat. She is the only one that followed that path. My brother, the minister and my other brother, the police officer are like me, conservative to a fault.

Toni is always saying that Mikel and I are like Daddy. Yet she is the one that has cut herself off from her family like Daddy did. She, like Daddy, hears nothing but the party line. She, like Daddy is very closed minded on most subjects. Momma, for the last two elections before she died voted Republican. Momma, at least, was not closed minded about the world. My Grandparents taught my Momma to think for herself and she passed on and she could see that in Mikel, Nicky and myself. I love my sister, but she sure is stubborn, just like Daddy!!!!
