This is great. John Kerry hasn't got dirt in common with Jackson Browne.

Wow, Jackson Browne's still alive? I thought he died in a plane crash or something.
Shucks...

LMAO...all that comes to mind is the dugout scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High when I see this loser.

You want Irony?

Many of Browne's songs, written as Vietnam-esq protest songs, hit me hardest during the Clinton years. Warnings about government lying to us, about the loss of honor, about trusting no one...all of them, every song off those old records, pointed right to the Bent One, although I am sure Browne never thought about Bill's misdeads for a minute as being the perfect example of what he warned about.
And now, here he is, defending the undefendable, supporting the unsupportable, standing in Bill's Long Shadow on the wrong side of history, protesting the only honorable man who has been in the Oval Office since Bush Senior. How can Browne look the other way and play the Left's attack dog when 3000 people died because of Bubba's limp-wristed foreign policy? Who's the real "Soldier of Misfortune" who sold his soul now, Jackson?

I always thought Jackson Browne was a lame-o - now here's proof!
Was it the highly underrated Tonio K. who wrote a scathing song about Mr. Browne? Help jog my memory banks, FReeper rockers!

Please clue me in, did Jackson Browne beat up his wife? His girldfriend? When and was he charged?

You're gonna love this true story. As a highschooler a friend and I managed to sneak into a motel where Browne was staying, actually recording, and were invited to a room party with his traveling buddies. We were offered, but declined, what I assumed was cocaine, on a butter knife, being passed around the room. Falling onto the floor.....
Never did meet Jackson himself, though.

"I'm fascinated by Rap and Hip-Hop
I think there's a lot of poetry in it.
There's a lot of anger, a lot of social energy in it.
And I think you'd better listen to it pretty carefully, 'cause it's important."

He supposedly injured the mermaid woman, the one who was living with him for ages and then briefly dated John Kennedy jr.
