Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

They want to insure enough attacks from enough directions with enough support that the USA will be terminally crippled.

All in a relatively short time.

They are not "suicidal". There is a tremendous difference between killing yourself and spending your life. Making caricatures of the enemy is fine, but never forget the reality.

What is the basis for this claim? Because you would have used them by now were you in their shoes, or maybe because you aren't prepared to accept that they have them?

Let me throw a tactical problem at you. Given 20 or so 1kt suitcases, at what point would you use them? where? What timing and placement would have the greatest impact on us?

Don't give them any ideas, but freepmail me the answer if you want to tackle it. That problem may shed some light for you as to why they remain unused.

We always assist in rebuilding. One of the plans laid out was to remove the terroristic recruiting element through education, funds, etc.

If we don't remove the recruiting grounds....then we did invade for nothing.

I'm thinking of the recruits in the system now in places like Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Palestinian Territories, Libya. How do we fight that? We have not (AFAIK) run into that in Iraq.
