Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

"Ask for death" is the message that the Palestinian Authority [PA] has been conveying to its children since the start of violence in October 2000. In June 2002, two articulate 11-year-old girls were interviewed in the studio of official Palestinian Authority TV. Among other topics, they spoke of their personal yearning to achieve death through Shahada – Death for Allah – and of a similar desire they said exists in "every Palestinian child." It is striking that their desire for death was expressed as a personal goal, not related to the conflict with Israel. Having been convinced that dying for Allah is preferable to life, their goal in living is not to experience a good life, but to achieve the proper death – Shahada.

My nephew is a political science major at Georgetown. He is really smart and the kid has caught the activist bug. Too bad he's a far left liberal. My sister is a personal friend of Michael Dukakis. ~Sigh~ The kid is volunteering at the DNC convention. Neither he nor anybody in his ultra smart HAHvad educated immediate family have ever met the Lord. I'm afraid that Heaven is going to be pretty lonely for me.

I, for one, do not know the validity of what he says. I do know that I have read one or two translated posts at IH in the recent past (early last summer?) where jihadis were discussing overall attack date preferences and they seemed to be saying that Tuesdays were the best but Thursdays were ok as backups, so to speak. Soon after there was a Thursday attack. I cannot remember which attack it was or when it took place though. But it was a Thursday. May have been the first Saudi Arabian attacks.

There was an M4.0 earthquake epicentered along the Southern San Andreas fault zone (Coachella Valley Segment) near Palm Springs, CA. This earthquake was preceded by a long period of unclamping along the Pacific and North American plate boundary.

Most important is that there was little change in the severity of unclamping that has been continuious since July 10, 2004. Please consider this a possible foreshock to an even larger seismic event, up to and including a major earthquake (KB Event) in the immediate future. I'll update this preliminary report ASAP
