Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) said he would expand faith-based initiatives if elected president. Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee, would establish a presidential advisory group to expand participation of faith-based groups in government programs, according to a campaign document published this week. Orthodox Jewish groups support President Bushs executive orders mandating such initiatives, but other national Jewish groups oppose them, saying they blur church-state divisions.
Kerry said he would rewrite the orders to ensure that money not go to proselytizing.
His idea of 'faith-based initiatives' would be to supply Muslim 'charities' with Federal funding.

it's obvious who is winning the war of ideas; every day that
goes buy, kerry adopts another GWB position, thereby basically
surrendering more territory.
he needs to change his campaign slogan to "Me, too!"
Senator Kerry has tried to back away from his radical pro-abortion stance (he says life starts at conception) and he's now reversing his opposition to President Bush's faith-based charities. This is rich. He's got the most liberal voting record in the entire Senate and now he's getting his picture taken with a shotgun, backing our faith-based charities, agreeing with President Bush on Israel and no right of return for Palestinians, as well as trying to back away from his extremist pro-choice position of the last couple of decades or more.
Is he going to be against progressive income taxes next?! Privatizing Social Security?! School choice vouchers?! Missile defense?!
It's almost as though he's done enough polling to actually figure out that the old left-wing agenda isn't selling...
It's like he's running as Bush!
Kerry is looking more and more like a guy who needs to be fitted for a jacket, a very straight one. He doesn't say anything just to get elected, he says anything because he can't help it!
Kerry at a $7 million celeb-studded fundraiser in New York City embraced Merl Streep who issued a warning, apparently directed at Bush, not to take religion on the campaign trail.
Hey folks, they will play a two-way street for themselves and make it a one-way street for the Bush campaign. However, we shall shine the light of truth on them until they're toast.
They already do. It's just one reason I oppose them.
hmm, you just gave me an idea for a Kerry campaign song
Will be back in a bit :-)
The anti-God Talk voters in John F*ckin's base are going bananas. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
DUers are livid over this. They chose pathetically in this election.
