George Bush Cannot Win (All Hope is Lost (cough cough cough))
Washington Dispatch. ^ | July 5, 2004 | Shane Cory

Despite the lack of enthusiasm John Kerry has shown for his very own campaign, he will become the 44th President of the United States.

Although it can be easily argued that it is much too early to call this election, I feel confident that a majority of Americans are so disgusted with the actions of George W. Bush and his administration that they would vote for any candidate that does not come from Bush family lineage.

As it stands in the current polls, Bush and Kerry are neck-and-neck by percentage; however Kerry has a lead in the Electoral College with the added comfort that several swing states will most likely close in his favor. According to Republican pollster, Scott Rasmussen, Florida, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon and Pennsylvania are in the "tossup" category. That's an additional 77 points that are going to swing Kerry's way. The remaining tossups will go to Bush giving him 48 extra points. The bottom line: Kerry 287, Bush 251. This would be a conservative estimate.

Funny things is, Bush can pretty much lose all of these swing states and still be ahead in Electoral College votes. Notice how the author doesnt brake down the rest to get his (her?) estimate.

If Kerry is gonna get elected, he will have to win all of the swing states, not just the liberal leaning ones (which dont forget, could still go to Bush), and also a few of the Republican stomping grounds. This is where he has no chance.

Tell her to go find a proabortion church: surely there are some Unitarians or United Methodists in West Virginia?

Someone should inform this guy that Gore carried all but Florida of those states. If they all reversed from last time it would be a net gain for Bush.

Spin reports to cover vote fraud.

These were the identical reports and reasoning why the republicans were going to loose.

In FL the unions went into debt, the DNC superfunded, and even cherry picked a candidate to "take over" florida as REVENGE. (BWAHAHAHHAHAHA)

Since there is no coverage of the republican or conservative media in the major print sources, it is hard to see how any positive Bush story will see the light of day in the comming months.

Tom do you have any doubt that the writer does indeed hate George Bush and America? I dont. Maybe that makes me ignorant --I dont know. I do feel this author hates GWB but lets give him the benefit of the doubt on hating America, after all Maybe he is just gullible to the lies of the Democrats.

On the cool evening of November 2nd, John Kerry will emerge as our new president and will bring an end to the new imperialism that George Bush sought to bring upon the world.

And in the following week of November, look for some very interesting things to start happening around the country.

I'd be surprised if Kerry got a bump of half of that.

The Dems seem to think that their convention speakers will resonate with us Average Joe Sixpacks out here in flyover country. In fact, I'm looking forward to their convention, because it will show the American people beyond the shadow of a doubt that the Democratic Party has been hijacked by frothing-mad leftwing lunatics who would turn America into a new Soviet-style dictatorship if given the chance.

Might I say you are absolutely right. I picture the Democrat National Comintern being closer to Chicago 1968 or the Wellstone Memorial/Party/Left-Wing Gala than anything remotely sane.

After watching Dick Morris closely for some period of time, I'm convinced he's actually a marionette.

Watch closely and you can just barely see the strings moving the corners of his mouth from side to side.

Thank goodness that's not written in stone. The writer probably psyches himself up everyday by saying it 10 times before starting his day.

These dem leftists are desperate. They keep saying that Kerry is going to win in an effort to 'will' him into victory. It won't work. The president is going to win and we good guys are going to help him

Ensure our president's victory by putting in work. Don't stand by passively. Work to win

How do other FReepers respond these days to the rants by 'friends?'

I live in NYC, I've lost count of how many people go bezerk about Bush.

The other day, while I was talking to some friends about Bush, some woman came over to ramble how evil he was.

When I told her not only was I voting for Bush, but I'd also donate, she actually started to cry.

I got a feeling we might see some acts of terrorism from leftists along with a few suicides after Bush wins in November, some of these people are so emotionally invested in this and full of such hatred, that it will be as if there entire family and loved ones have died when Bush wins.

I've got hundreds of stories from people who are just freaks about hating Bush, and have some kind of religious cultlike fervor akin to being mentally ill that shuts off rational thought and runs into the bizarre.

It does happen more and more. They are almost cult-like in their hatred. I can be in groups of 6-7 people talking (this is at work; not among friends) and I find I am the only Bush supporter.
