Look Out For this Democrat Vote Fraud Trick on Election Day - and Have a Cop Make an Arrest
7/02/04

Posted on 07/02/2004 8:33:04 AM PDT by jmstein7

As we all know, for Democrats, the law is a mere annoyance… something that needs to be circumvented to achieve the desired Democrat ends.  This is particularly true on election day.

“Walking Around Money”

I’m sure that many of you have seen this – Democrats and/or Democrat affiliated groups near polling places giving people “walking round money” to vote on Election Day.  This is an illegal practice.  Note the following federal law:

18 USCS § 597 (2004)

§ 597.  Expenditures to influence voting

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and

Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote--

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

As you see, this is an illegal activity.  If you see this practice going on on Election Day, alert the authorities immediately – cops with probable cause to believe a person or persons is (are) violating this law have the authority to make an arrest on the spot.  Further, there will probably be vote fraud hotlines set up to report this kind of thing.

You can give cops the necessary probable cause to make an arrest by showing them a copy of the law or merely citing the statute (18 USCS 597), telling them that you personally observed the law being violated, and telling them, in detail, whom you saw violating the law.

The people offering the money and the people who receive/accept the money may both be arrested and charged.

Please tell anyone you know about this law, and please take action to be on the lookout for this on Election Day.  As we say in New York – “if you see something, SAY something!”

The last hundred odd votes in Duval County were all for "Landslide Lyndon" and cast in alphabetical order.

That's what I was thinking about -- "the Duke of Duval County."

Yeah, like telling a cop you saw this crime will have any effect on them. Their response will more than likely be "I can't do anything about it." After all it isn't like they were speeding or overparked or something equally dangerous.

As long as it's not part of his quota, no NYPD cop is going to bother with it.

Oops. I just remembered. The NYPD has no ticket quota; the commissioner said so himself.

"but I do believe there should be some sort of test of mental capacity before voting"

Yeah, like a 4,000-question test on human history, current events, and economics.

Most of the cretins who voted for Beelzebubba couldn't even identify the policies of either candidate, much less make a decent guess as to what the consequences of those policies were likely to be.

Lots of room for fraud in absentee/early voting. Especially in the deep south where I live.

I have talked to a lot of my elders who were in on the election work during the LBJ "landslide" and they all tell me of the massive voter fraud that happened. These ladies work really hard now to take deceased people off the list, almost IMPOSSIBLE to do.... and they make sure no deceased people VOTE! They watch the obits very closely and keep track of the names. You can do this in a small town, but in a big city, I am sure there is massive fraud, and all the dead people who vote, vote "D".

There's no doubt "Landslide Lyndon" stole the election against Coke Stevenson. It was done on a massive scale and with very crude methods.

Especially given they made the same mistake for Bush 1, incorrectly calling FL.

In the private/responsible world there would have been immediate firings. The lack of firings following a repeat error only indicates that those in charge got the "error" they wanted.

If a border patrol car or agent were present we would have to listen top a bunch of distorted lies and half truths for months about dienfranchisement.

Reality does not enter into the leftist media equation.

See "dienfrachisemnet, FL, 2004".. Investigatged. Found false. Still repeated by media - they will kust use repeatedly wording like "alleged disenfrachisement" forgetting the rest of the phrase "proven to democratic lies of "alleged disenfranchisement".

That is what you would hear.

For all of you that bashed me about voting Absentee, (except Irish Eyes who was very kind), I did hear from my Maine Representative. Here is what they sent me:

Hi,

That is totally untrue. They are going back to four years ago when so many of the absentee ballots where thrown out and those were service man. As long as you fill out the paper work correctly you are all set. That is absolutely nonsense.

Lois

So...........for all of you that said my vote did not count, there is is! From the horses mouth!!!

I don't think you understood what people were explaining to you. I, for the record, was not bashing you for voting absentee.

Here we go

Question
I live in California and voted by absentee ballot. Were the absentee ballots in California ever counted? I remember hearing about one million absentee ballots that hadn't been counted. Later I thought that I heard the absentee ballots were almost complete, but when talking to my sister last night she said she had heard that they hadn't been counted. I wouldn't have thought too much about our conversation, but later I heard a woman talking about the absentee ballots in California not being counted unless they were needed to break a tie or something. Are the absentee ballots in California routinely not counted?

Answer
This is an interesting question! I had to look it up myself, as I also had heard the charge that absentee ballots in California were not being counted. According to the California Secretary of State's office, "In California, county election officials have 28 days from the date of the election to complete the final canvass of votes, however, the final results in most races will be determined well before that deadline. The extended period of time to review the ballots is required to ensure that the election officials are able to verify the signatures of voters on absentee ballots against the signatures on voter registration cards before the absentee ballots can be opened and counted." In other words, they are supposed to count all the ballots by 28 days after the election. But if they can tell who was elected before they count them all, they will announce that, and then finish counting. They report that 1,146,894 absentee ballots have been counted since election day, and that no uncounted ballots remain. (Of course, they could have lost a few someplace.) You can find all this on the web at http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_upbr.htm.

It's okay to use the taxpayers' money to buy votes, but it's criminal to use your own.

Good point.

I apologize to you then. But I was pretty upset when "some" said that my absentee ballot was not counted!

They drove home instead of to the polls.

I'm not sure I want people that unconscious and brainless on my side.

All they need is some yahoo to declare the other side the winner and they turn their brains off?

Hmmmmmmmmm.

What seems to happen in California is that they tally the election day votes. If the absentees will not make a difference, the clerks are allowed to annouce who the winner is and then take their sweet time counting the absentee ballots to get the "official" results.

There are some places that only count absentee ballots if they can make a difference. That's all. If you follow instructions, your vote will count.

Unless you vote Libertarian.

I had trouble and was unable to vote in the 2000 elections under suspicious circumstances. Before the elections I hadn't received my voting information that is typically sent out. On calling the county registrar's office the clerk-who sounded like she could be suborned on the cheap with crack cocaine-told me my "signature was invalid". This was odd as I voted for Dole in 96 on the same "invalid signature". Finally, I negotiated to be able to cast a provisional ballet which would be valid weeks after-the-fact. This is Los Angeles County.

I was going to leave work to vote, but the election had already been called for Gore which indicated to me voting would be futile.
