Fed confirms economy's strength.

The economy is a locomotive running downhill now. Jobs, the stock market, etc will only get better and better as we get closer to November.

People vote their pocketbooks and 401k's, Bush wins big.

I sense the "doom and gloom" campaign of the media and the dem nominee make this a "fragile recovery."

They've convinced half the nation that everything's going to hell in a rocketship.

Anything raising costs will hurt.

From the Fed website: "Although incoming inflation data are somewhat elevated, a portion of the increase in recent months appears to have been due to transitory factors. The Committee perceives the upside and downside risks to the attainment of both sustainable growth and price stability for the next few quarters are roughly equal."
