It is 8:15 p.m. now, local, in Iraq. Sunset in Baghdad slated for 8:16 p.m. (12:16 p.m. Eastern Time Monday). The poor South Korean captive in Iraq, Mr. Kim, may well meet a terrible fate at this moment. Please pray that these radical Islamist uncivilized animals are overwhelmed somehow by Divine Force, or hopefully; by US Marines or special forces (who would also be a divine force in this case).
Watching and waiting and hoping.......

Agree! Al-Jazeera AND much of the mainstream media in the US are accomplices. Abu-Gharib's "popularity" as a news story helped fuel the fire in the muslim world...

Dear Father, send Your strongest angels to guard this man and strike terror in the hearts and minds of his captors. Cause these cowards to flee from Mr. Kim, cause them to argue and fight amongst themselves. Clear a path to freedom for Mr. Kim, and lead him safely home. Thank You, Father!

On September 12, 2001, my mother suggested that we name our upcoming response either "Operation Infinite Justice" or "Operation Avenging Eagle."

Hoping something good will come out of this. Time has run out (at least according to the vermin). Well, we will see.
And you are right: I am sure alJazeera will be the first on this, if it turns out the vermin's have their way.....sad.

I misspoke, I meant the Iraqi terrorists not the Iranian terrorists...but then they are the same crowd and they will all have to be "dealt with" sooner hopefully rather than later...

I'm praying for his family and his soul.
I suspect he already met his Maker, since the vermin knows no mercy.
May God spread His wings over the other brave men working in civilian and military jobs in Iraq.

"If these animals are foolish enough to behead this poor soul, I think they will be making a mistake they'll seriously regret." I believe that since this poor soul was kidnapped that the S. Korean gov't has indicated that they plan to increase their troop presence in Iraq. I would suggest to the US and the new Iraqi gov't that they put these troops to use in Fallujah. As I recall their reputation from the Korean War and elsewhere, the S. Koreans are kind of like the Turks---you DON'T want to piss them off.

Some observations:
Once captured you are a dead man, anyway. All experts agree that the abductors know that their demands won't be met. They use it as a publicity ploy. It works rather well, unfortunately.
This is all the Al-Q has right now. A few abductions and some publicity stunts that cost one human life each. It will wear out its welcome soon, but for now, it's all they have. It's not 3,000 people, but it is having a long-term psychological effect on us if they can keep it going. It's cheaper than a 9/11 but it's doing its work.
Let's hope they've miscalculated the attention span of the average American, cuz we're all waiting for the new season of the Sopranos and Deadwood. Face it, we like variety in our terror. I give them a half-dozen more before we're bored with it.
Prayers, nonetheless, for the unfortunate Korean. Perhaps his life won't have been in vain if South Korea takes it personally and wakes up.

It's gonna continue unless/until we play hard-ball. They are still in the process of calling down the THUNDER.

Heavenly Father, wrap Your arms around Mr. Kim and his parents. Comfort them and encorage them in this dark time. And again I ask You, Father...strike fear and confusion in the hearts and minds of Mr. Kim's captors. They are cowards lead by Satan; full of hate and all that You despise. Claim victory, Father, and lead Mr. Kim to safety. Wrap him in Your cloak and make him invisible to any who would cause him harm. Thank You, Father!

I agree about escalating the war. Where is Al Jazeera located?? I say we bomb it. Like we have done in other wars- start by cutting off the propaganda machines. Jam their signal- blow the place up- do whatever it takes.

What you describe reflects what we have seen from the Japanese in WWII, the Koreans and the Vietnamese. The various Asian cultures don't have a tendancy to take crap from anything or anybody. Very prideful people, which agree or not with their politics, one has to find refreshing.

Totally heartbreaking and infuriating. Islamists has served clear notice that they cannot live in the same world with the rest of us.
I wish someone could explain to me why we do not clean out Fallujah.

I have to concur.
Friday, the pix were circulating as soon as the word was out of the murder.
These terrorists are wanting the publicity.
