Does that mean they think Stalin was 'misunderstood' and believe he was a real nice guy that was a victim of right wing bias in the media?

I've told this story before: When I was in College, I had a history professor who gave a lecture which covered two basic points:
1) Stalin was a pragmatic leader who simply did what he had to do. Yeah, he may have exterminated millions of his own citizens during peacetime -- but the man had no choice!
2) Truman was a war criminal who should have been tried and executed after WWII. The man dropped bombs on the enemy during wartime. This was barbaric and unforgiveable.
The man truly believed this. He is not alone.
Do you have the number of a local supplier of Commie Clenser? I need a case or 2!

Stalin, Mao and Saddam killed their own poeple. To a liberal, this is ok because these were interal affairs of their respective countries and who the hell are we to tell them how to run a country. To do something about it would be 'imperialistic'. But to drop a couple of nukes on a foreign country during a war in an attempt to STOP a war is criminal.
