Web Site Denies Cell Leader Killed

Saturday, June 19, 2004

CAIRO, Egypt — A message posted on an Islamic militant Web site Saturday denied that the leader of the Al Qaeda cell in Saudi Arabia had been killed.

Abdulaziz al-Moqrin (search) had purportedly overseen the kinapping of Paul M. Johnson, the American whose decapitated body was found on Friday in Riyadh. Saudi officials claimed al-Moqrin, the reputed leader of the group calling itself Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (search), was killed in a shootout after Johnson's body was found.

"Some satellite networks and news agencies have been propagating the false news that Abdel Aziz al-Moqrin, God preserve him, has been killed," the statement said. "We would like to say that such claims, unleashed by the tyrants of Saudi Arabia, are aimed at dissuading the holy warriors and crushing their spirits."

The statement was impossible to verify but appeared on a Web site where similar claims have been made in the past. It began with a Quranic verse that urges believers to ensure the truth of information they receive, and was similar in appearance and tone as past messages.

It said another statement would appear soon.

The Saudi's are trying desperately to defuse the another situation which clearly shows terrorist and terrorism flourishes in Saudi Arabia. Of course capturing this animal was out of the question. To many questions about the Saudi's might have suddenly have been answered.

True, we can give the Saudis the benefit of the doubt, and then run the forensic tests to make sure.

AQ's denial means nothing.

Remember how important it was to prove that the "Hussein boys" had died, but there were still denials.

In fact, since they are denying it, probably means he is dead.

United States: Bring out yer dead.
[A man puts a body on the cart]
Saudi Arabia: Here's one.
United States: That'll be nine Riyals.
al-Moqrin: I'm not dead.
United States: What?
Saudi Arabia: Nothing. There's your nine Riyals.
al-Moqrin: I'm not dead.
United States: 'Ere, he says he's not dead.
Saudi Arabia: Yes he is.
al-Moqrin: I'm not.
United States: He isn't.
Saudi Arabia: Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
al-Moqrin: I'm getting better.
Saudi Arabia: No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
United States: Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
al-Moqrin: I don't want to go on the cart.
Saudi Arabia: Oh, don't be such a baby.
United States: I can't take him.
al-Moqrin: I feel fine.
Saudi Arabia: Oh, do me a favor.
United States: I can't.
Saudi Arabia: Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
United States: I promised I'd be at Tora Bora. They've lost nine today.
Saudi Arabia: Well, when's your next round?
United States: Thursday.
al-Moqrin: I think I'll go for a walk.
Saudi Arabia: You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything you could do?
al-Moqrin: I feel happy. I feel happy.
[The U.S. glances up and down the street furtively, then silences al-Moqrin with his a whack of Roosevelt's Big Stick]
Saudi Arabia: Ah, thank you very much.
United States: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
Saudi Arabia: Right.

I heard on FNN yesterday afternoon that Monsoor Ijaz said that the Royal Family is in a real turmoil over this entire turn of events in Saudi. That they can no longer be two-faced about their political agenda.

Monsoor suggested that the Royal Family leaders need to personally go the Mosques in Saudi and denounce the Muslim terrorists and make clear that the Kingdom would not tolerate any further violence against Westerners.

From the tone of Monsoor's voice, it didn't sound like the Royal family would be opened to such action.

President Bush needs to take action soon. Americans need to decided between oil and revenge against these brutal slayings of American citizens trying to make the world a better place for all of us.

I say, have the kids walk or take the bus, car pool, just one family car instead of the three or four most of us have. Other men and women in the Military and working overseas are making sacrifices for us living comfortably in the US, it seems like we can reciprocate by adjusting our lifestyles a little.

One more thing, LET'S ROLL on getting he oil field development started Alaska!

United we stand, divided we are undermining the future our our Country and risking more lives to these beasts!
