My anger and sadness are gone. My only concern is that Gitmo is way too good for this killer. Maybe we could just dig a hole, line it with concrete and plastic, and put a cage lid on top...

Gee, that was a quick I.D. Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical over all this crapYes... considering the last we heard about the Saudis before Johnson's beheading was announced was that they were searching the Saudi desert for "clues". Ohhh KAY!

From CNN:
Al Qaeda leader in Saudi Arabia killed while disposing of American hostage's body, Al-Arabiyah reports. CNN working to confirm.

Its amazing how effective the saudis can be when they're afraid. Lets make sure they stay that way.

exactly the same thing clinton said all those years, and now Bush is saying it. And like clinton - it's only words, not deeds. I disagree. Clinton didn't chase the Taliban out of Afghanistan and he didn't get rid of Saddam and his two bastardly sons. Al-Sadr has been relegated to the trashbin of Imans, and Fallujah is still TBD. Special Forces are looking for Al-Zawahiri there now. My guess is that they will find him.
Personally, all these comments (similar to yours) are starting to tick me off.
You all sound like Kerry now.

WHAT? The so-called LEADER in Al Qaeda is dumping the body himself rather than having his cohorts and lackey's do it??
No f-ing way. If so, great news but is the guy really that stupid?

I suspect President Bush told the Sauds he was about to send in U.S. Special Ops forces. Took the Sauds about 10 minutes to clean up that little problem.

Good news but if they were able to find him so fast after the beheading, I wish they could have found him *before* the beheading.,
I wish they hadn't killed him until they squeezed him like a pimple for info, then beheaded him and put his head on a stick in public.

My question is how did they know it was Paul Johnson's killer, was there photos of him...last time they wore hoods. Secondly, If they knew where he was why did they not arrest this man previously? I need more proof!

"That is awesome news! Being shown on Fox and CNN now."
I missed news of Johnsons' killer getting killed. Had MSNBC on, and good news is slow in reporting. Sounds like informant info getting better. Still needs improvement to prevent these barbaric attacks in the first place.

all you have to do is look back to threads about 3 weeks after 9/11 when 40% of FReepers had given up on Bush to know folks are fickle.
