A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Got it.
Beautiful scenic picture!

I loved that Twenty Third Psalm, Sistah. I plan on constructing a sermon around that. Thank you. Had a really good day which I'm sure was due to your faithful prayers. My new church seemed to like my preaching and they want me to teach the Wed. night class(more work). They brought our Emma home today and we went to their apt. to take Roy's first Father's Day gift and card. Emma is nursing now so she will grow fast. Her other Grandma and I are going to be in a contest over who gets to babysit. I can see it coming.

Circling the field to say good night, and was glad you had posted.
It has been a stellar day, thanks, with all the children checking in.
Hope your week at work is an easy and productive one.
(Look forward to all your appearances!)

Yes that is our building.
I understand about staying home. I ate some food for lunch that made me really sick and I ended up having to stay home last night.

This is an absolutely beautiful post. I've never seen the Psalm broken out this way, it makes it even more meaningful and powerful. The depth and riches of God's Word!! It reminds me of one of my favorite passages, John 10:14 "I am the Good Shepard; I know my sheep, and my sheep know me." Why does He know them? Because as the shepards of old did, the Lord addresses each one by name and gives the compassion and encouragement needed by every idividual to carry him through.

What lovely thoughts about the sheep knowing who the Shepherd is. I thank you for sharing them with me. I look forward to our visit later. I hope you have a great day. We've got to keep at it with the school books. Jonah tested out of 2nd grade very well, but is a little behind in subtraction, so we're minus'ing the summer away.

Mama_Bear misses you too! Luckily, I got my Mama_Bear fix on Saturday and Sunday! Yesterday we (Mama_Bear, jkphoto, myself and Mr. Scubachick) went to the Vietnam Wall, the WWII Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Arlington, and all over the city. Words cannot describe how moving and touching the sights were. Just being in our nation's capitol is awe-inspiring.
Mama_Bear will be logging on soon. She has to wait her turn in the hotel to get online! Jkphoto took absolutely wonderful photos.
