Well, I can forget suggesting you contact AM 1380's morning host. He appears pretty much in Arnold's pocket. Those are the people we need, those who supported Arnold. They are the ones who should be carrying this water. So far the silence on FR has been deafening. You see the huge response we are getting. I'm sure there is a larger response on the San Jose freep Kerry thread. It is totally disheartening.

I got a reply from the Bee, they are going to publish my letter on AB2631 on the 21st. I'm sure it was delayed because of the Presidents passing.

Mark needs to shift to something that effects a huge portion of his listening audience much more directly than the WOT!!! He usually loves to get after Schwarzenegger at every opportunity... well, here's a biggie!!!Well I got on the air with Mark Williams tonight. He hung up on me, not interested. I guess mentioning that Republicans were pushing this was the wrong thing to say. Reminds me of a web forum I know.
Incidentally he was filling in for a gal down south as well so it went all over the state. Too bad he cut me off. I'd love to see freepers jump his case about it.

Talk show hosts in Sacramento will not say a word about the governor that isn't approved. If they do, he won't let them interview him or allow them press passes to any of his functions. So they kowtow.
To: hedgetrimmer
No doubt. I'll still try Tom's show but I won't hold my breath.

I think Julie is going to go speak to the committee. I would go but I would have to take off work. I need to put together some information for her to bring her up to speed. I sure could use your county info you put together.

I was thinking of the information you had on how this would effect counties but I'll take what ever you can give me.

I cannot "conserve" any of that myself. A nice, fruity ale. One of my favorites..

Thank you for your efforts with Mark. Sullivan will be even tougher because he's NEVER been willing to tolerate ANY criticism of Schwarzenegger like so many around here.
What's so danged scary is that even those who don't like Arnold pushing this abomination, think it's not a high enough priority in light of the economic/fiscal crisis. That's exactly why I keep pounding on just how absolutely wrong that is!
Not only will it impact the economy of the Sierran Region, it will dry up our property tax revenues due to property being shifted to the government which doesn't pay ANY damn taxes, it just sucks 'em!!!
People like Tom and a whole lot of Repellicans just are scared spitless to rock this boat for fear of hurting the celebrity veneer and momentum right at this time.
Others who support our concerns are intimidated in speaking out for fear they may not have all their facts perfectly in order and don't have the courage to challenge the monster on primefacia common sense, as they might appear like unto an emotional liberal, or something.
You had the guts to call an arrogant, rude and sometimes crude talk host who rarely gets his fact perfectly in order and rants and raves like a complete maniac at times. You done yer best and I thank you for it!!!

We can't be afraid. We need moral leadership in this state more now than in any other time in our history. The internationalists like the governor, will enforce a socialistic civil governance that will end up in the total loss of private property rights and worse. I don't believe this to be an exageration given the utter control the Sierra Nevada Conservancy board will have over private lives.
If we don't stop the dissolution of private property rights, he will be emboldened to amend the Constitution to run for president. An overt global socialist in the presidency will destroy whatever is left of the culture our founding fathers trusted us to protect.
To: hedgetrimmer; SierraWasp
I'm going to post a fresh thread with all the links. It will take me a minute.
You'll notice all the support we are getting from the southern half of the state. Maybe when their water gets cut off for the fish we will get their attention. Course then it will be too late. Where are all those activist that are supposed to exist on this site?

I'm one of those southerners... and I've been tryin'!
Unfortunately, I think my neighbors are busy polishing the celebrity veneer. :-(

I'm one of those southerners... and I've been tryin'! This is true, you seem to be the exception to the rule. And we are most greatful for all you have done.
