Thank you for your efforts with Mark. Sullivan will be even tougher because he's NEVER been willing to tolerate ANY criticism of Schwarzenegger like so many around here.

What's so danged scary is that even those who don't like Arnold pushing this abomination, think it's not a high enough priority in light of the economic/fiscal crisis. That's exactly why I keep pounding on just how absolutely wrong that is!

Not only will it impact the economy of the Sierran Region, it will dry up our property tax revenues due to property being shifted to the government which doesn't pay ANY damn taxes, it just sucks 'em!!!

People like Tom and a whole lot of Repellicans just are scared spitless to rock this boat for fear of hurting the celebrity veneer and momentum right at this time.

Others who support our concerns are intimidated in speaking out for fear they may not have all their facts perfectly in order and don't have the courage to challenge the monster on primefacia common sense, as they might appear like unto an emotional liberal, or something.

You had the guts to call an arrogant, rude and sometimes crude talk host who rarely gets his fact perfectly in order and rants and raves like a complete maniac at times. You done yer best and I thank you for it!!!

We can't be afraid. We need moral leadership in this state more now than in any other time in our history. The internationalists like the governor, will enforce a socialistic civil governance that will end up in the total loss of private property rights and worse. I don't believe this to be an exageration given the utter control the Sierra Nevada Conservancy board will have over private lives.

If we don't stop the dissolution of private property rights, he will be emboldened to amend the Constitution to run for president. An overt global socialist in the presidency will destroy whatever is left of the culture our founding fathers trusted us to protect.

So, tell me what you really think.

Funny, a group of us just had that same conversation with our county commissioners in PA. Someone (including the state's DCNR) is trying to establish a 'core biosphere reserve' in north-central PA. We were asking the commissioners to just make a statement about opposing more land purchases by government because of the tax impacts. Unfortunately our county government is in much better shape financially than California is, so there's little sense of the urgent need to stop this stuff in its tracks.
