Poor Jimmy, there was a time he was funny and I liked reading him and his books.
I guess when he had that brain surgery a few years back they took the best part and left the worst. He hasn't been funny or relevant since.
But I guess when he walks into Elaine's tonight and bellies up to the bar to brag about his big column on bashing Reagan and his funeral his Left-Wing Liberal buddies will be buying the first round for him and together they can spew their venomous hated for all things Reagan and Conservative. What pathetic mortals these be!

That's good of you, and of course is the right thing to do. Better than I can generally do. Hard for me to control the impatient temper I have!

The frayed-ends of the liberal masses must have been finally cut for we are at the rock core, twisted mass of liberal madness. It is always the toughest in the middle mass of the base.... so the intensity may be distracting, like a stuck pig.

Seeing Breslin's photo reminds me of something unpleasant on the bottom of my shoe.

Anyone who could consider the gentle Ronald Reagan a "callous" man, is too ignorant to be taken seriously.

Breslin is the slime ball that blamed the Newark Fire Fighters for the riots which gutted the city! Unfortunately he survived!

Yes, he was so callous he wiped up spilled water from his hospital room floor himself, even though he was recovering from a gunshot wound, so his nurse wouldn't get into trouble for it. So callous, he took the time to thank his military detail for staying out in the cold, so callous that he gave away a written speech to a young Jim Rogan, even though it was his only copy. The stories of his "callousness" are legion, and would shame a less shameless man than Breslin.

"I don't see how anybody can summon grief [over Reagan's death]," Breslin observed. "His whole weeklong funeral is cheap, utterly distasteful American publicity."

I'm with you. Nowadays, when I hear leftist dolts spew garbage like this, my reaction is:

"Well, there you go again!"

LOL, I can see those squirming libs! Think of the comparison; 100,000 people lining up for hours to view Reagan, and 20 dorks beating on buckets to protest the G8. Hmm, wonder which is the real America.

This chills 1 to the bone.

Um, what is that "GOD" sign - I fear most of all - does it say, pray tell, "God hates America"?

Then that just proves what I've known all along - not only do Liberals have no common sense (as if Reagan was so terrible, or America for that matter), *they* honestly hate America!

We can only assume from this picture, but it would not surprise me in the least.

One of my favorite stories about this a-hole is the time during the Crown Heights riots when he decided to write a sympathetic story about the rioters so he went to Crown Heights to interview a few of these deserving citizens.

Unfortunately, the mob was in no mood for this moron so they stripped him naked and he had to be rescued by the cops.

>>Newsday used to be a "city" paper, but some years ago they decided to officially be a suburban paper (Long Island, really). <<

Actually, the opposite is true. For many decades, Newsday was a locally-owned evening Long-Island newspaper. It was available only in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens. In the late '80's, before or after they were bought out by the L.A. Times, they decided to invade the New York City market. The idea was cynical to no end:

Many cities were losing city-wide newspapers; most cities had become single-newspaper towns. New York had the Wall Street Journal, the Times, the Post and the Daily News. Newsday thought that two tabloids were too much for the New York market, so, flushed with cash, they thought they could drive the other two out of business. Newsday was willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars securing a market.

The plan failed. Mort Zuckerman bought the Daily News (there may have been another owner in between), giving it plenty of cash. And the writers of the Post showed more pluck than anyone imagined. When the Post closed, the workers pulled a reverse strike, locking themselves in the newsroom, working without pay, and publishing the paper. It was distributed through the labyrinth of secret, underground tunnels that had inspired shows such as "Beauty and the Beast." Within several days, Rupert Murdock stepped forward, and circulation began to soar.

Newsday knew their plan was foiled. They closed their New York offices, took their staggering losses, and retreated to Mineola, LI.

No question that Newsday has the worst content of any paper I've ever seen.

Breslin is indeed a lying hateful thug, and his nasty bigotry, pettiness, and spiritual emptiness makes him completely unable even to begin comprehending someone like President Reagan.
Thanks! I was wondering how anyone could write what he wrote. Thanks for your explanation.

Sorry Breslin. Sure must suck to be you.

You would think that these "writers" should have to pass even the most basic intelligence test before they are turned loose with a pen???? Huh, ya think???
