Also, it sounds like the WMD are up his sleeve too. A new report will come out soon. I like how he laughs. Like someone who just won a game of poker.

Thanks for the ping! I missed all this! So happy as you all reported that Gregory got slapped - did he call him "Monsieur" Gregory again.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Maybe C-Span will air it later?
I am trying to check their schedule now,
but thus far, I don't see anything about it.

I'd forgotten how bad the liberal media was too Reagan. Bush is at the same place Reagan was when he won his second term. Lots of folks here at FR just keep looking at the Bush polls, which Reagan never did or allow.
Bush will easily get re-elected just like Reagan.

I remember that china flap, it was awful. The WH didn't even have a complete set of matching china. What a disgusting thing to rag on Nancy about. I believe the money for the china had been donated anyway, but the press just went on and on and on.

It's kinda sad watching Gregory trying to match wits with GW when he knows he doesn't have half a chance!

Exactly, Madame. The press called it "that gazing stare." Much the same stare, if they want to get snippy, as the press gave clinton. This was a treasure of a press conference. I'm sure David Gregory is trying to save face in front of his peers, but he was justly HUMILIATED today.
To: BlessedByLiberty
I saw most of this press conference and was also thrilled by what I saw. At the end he said, "they are giving me the hook" and then explained he had to go to DC for the funeral, to be with the Reagan family, etc., and then said: "And to any of you going with us get going since we ahve to go NOW."
I'm still laughing - just great.

***The press was horrible to both the Reagan's back then .. I still remember how they would tare Nancy to shreds .. whether it be her dresses or her cloths .. oh and then there was the china***
I remember too, Mo. No matter what Nancy wore, she was wrong. No matter what she said, she was wrong. Some women would have wanted some revenge against them, but Nancy's behavior has been the epitome of a true lady. Ronnie must be proud.

Bush Calls Freedom in Mideast 'Imperative' Thu Jun 10, 2004 03:51 PM ET
SAVANNAH, Ga. (Reuters) - Freedom in the Middle East is the "imperative of our age," President Bush said on Thursday at the end of Group of Eight industrial nations summit. "The spread of freedom throughout the Middle East is the imperative of our age," Bush told a news conference in Savannah, Georgia, after a G8 summit that focused on Iraq's future and approved a plan to seek political and economic reform in the broader Middle East region. Bush has said that the post-Saddam Iraq could be a catalyst for change in the region. A follow up question if you please Miss kitkat. By "nobody knows what Kerry means" do you mean to include Sen. Kerry as well?
