I agree with you.
That was his best speech.
This one might be even
better, sentimentally speaking.

We live in strange times. I have more respect for that Communist former leader of the late-Soviet Union than I do for virtually any Democrat.

Democrats still assume the "stuped amrikans" don't read papaers abroad. This is why they send sid "vicious" blumenthal over to the UK Guardian to publish his reagan is evil editorial.
Rember the constituency of the Democrat Party of the United States is the Socialists outside the USA. They only stay in power by lying to people and through the useful idiots who vote for them.

Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before obscure men. (Proverbs 22:29)
Other translations substitute "diligent" for "skilled". Either one aptly describes our President.

Just beautiful - bet they scrambled to get their belongings together. Will look for a transcript later, if someone finds it please ping.
Thinking about the way Nancy would watch Ronnie reminds me of Laura and George and their ongoing romance. The obvious love, decency and respect these couples have is inspiring.
The left can't stand these couple and snipe at them because the black and white contrast to their demigods marraige - the Clintons - is stark and unrelenting. In the Clinton's we don't see a marriage but a political compact whose only goal is a quest for power. Love does not pour forth when the Clintons take a stage together, just a pure cold blooded hunger to fill their quest.

My husband and I always meet for lunch on Fridays, but I 've already informed him that if he wants the pleasure of my company anytime between 11 and 2 tomorrow, he had better plan to pick something up, bring it home, and keep quiet!

I know. As I was typing that post, I was wondering how a Soviet Leader could do ANYTHING that would touch my soul. That's just how low the dems. have sunk, IMO. That a Soviet Leader gets it, and still they grope blindly.

Man, being cube-bound during this great week of remembrance and honor for our beloved Pres. Reagan is killing me!

did anyone see Peggy Noonan on C-span today? I would have missed it but I was a little under the weather and switched on the TV. She was absolutely awesome.Yes. She was tremendous. Received a standing ovation. Today is her son's 17th birthday, and he was in attendance.

My point exactly. It's very telling, regarding the total depravity of the current Democrat Party.

GW looked like he must have "gotten some"....he's got a big grin, a swagger to his step, and is speaking with confidence and authority. He handled the press like he has a big ole set of gonads.
I wish he would stand up to the Islamists in the same way....

IMHO, Peggy Noonan is at her best talking about the legacy of Ronald Reagan. She loves the man, and expresses our love for him better than we ourselves can.
