A thumbs up??No kidding. What's that supposed to mean?
To: TomGuy; Howlin
That's because it (the photo op) wasn't about President Reagan; it was about John Kerry. Very choreographed. No casket, no need to get permission from the family. [I'm speculating on that last part.] What about the video
$10 says he uses it for a campaign ad

If he does, I will really be puking.
To: Darlin'
Not only that but 1) he said he was "suspending" his campaign this week, and 2) he made invidious comparisons between Bush and Reagan. The media picked it right up, even emphasizing that he was catholic and made the sign of the Cross. They all got together over the weekend to figure out a way to use this. They have politicized it just like the Wellstone funeral only this time I bet they get away with it. Next we will hear how Bush is "politicizing" this while Kerry was just honorably showing his respect. It is beyond belief, particularly if peo0ple buy it.

Let me put it to you this way...
what other senator has inserted himself
into the "public viewing for RWR" complete
with his own cameraman?
NONE. NOT ONE.
This is completely contrived, and blantantly
opportunistic.
A photo op.
This Kerry has no shame and
no decency at all.

Why do these people want to go where they're not wanted? Most of us wouldn't even think of going somewhere where we wouldn't be welcome.

I thought it was so cool that he was selected to play Ike in the D-Day flick.

the fact others celebs had the humility to wait in line speaks VOLUMES for what despicable defilement kerry did to this somber event.
To: TomGuy
Unfortunately for the dems, they showed the country how they pay their respects in 2002 with that shameless, three ring circus they called the Wellstone Memorial. They simply refuse to accept that this State Funeral will be a solemn, dignified occasion suitable for a world leader and not some sleezy campaign rally. You don't invite your adversaries or people you wouldn't associate with when you were alive to speak at your funeral.

" You DON'T use someome death as a Photo Op"
you do if you are a typical filthbag, power crazed, democrat of the clintong era...
This untimely event has them roasting in their own gravy of bile and vomit...
Ronald Reagan has stuck it to the left, with God's help, by passing at exactly the moment when it was best for our nation to RECALL what HE stood for.
There is a stake in the heart of the left's leadership today... and it has the name of President Ronald Wilson Reagan on it.
We salute you Mr. President.
God keep and speed you on your journey beyond the next horizon.

FWIW, just saw some videotape on MSNBC a few minutes ago. It looked there was a guy there videotaping Kerry with some kind of digital palmcorder. Didn't look like it was a journo, maybe someone with Kerry?

Have you ever noticed that the French guy has three buttons on his cuffs? What kind of euro-weenie has three buttons on the cuff of a dress shirt?
To: section9
As sick as it is - Kerry brought his own photographer.
It's obvious that no one ever taught these people that "bereavement" does not mean "circus."
How many decent people would want to take a photograph of themselves at that moment. What kind of person would even think this behavior would pass muster when people are grieving? What kind of person makes a funeral a moment for political opportunism?
To: Peach
As well, the article says he was attending his daughter's ceremony (Graduation?) in the area today anyway. Problem is, graduation is Friday. LOL Is there a way to confirm this, does anyone know what film school she's attending, is it UCLA? (probably) The article referenced his campaign headquarters saying he was going to be in California on Tues/Wed to attend graduation & see her 15 minute film. This was after they listed the concerts that they are rescheduling. What I'd like to know, were those concerts being cancelled what allowed him to come to the graducation, or is he just using that as the excuse, and the graduation is really on Friday, and he orignally planned to be in Calif on Friday only. (sorry for talking in cirlces here, jumping in from being buried at work)
