Thanks! Just got here and all I can say is tacky, tacky, tacky! Proves the old adage that money does not buy class, one either has it or does not have it.

Didn't Kerry disrupt part of the war memorial service when President Bush was giving his speech by bringing cameras along there as well?

Saying he couldn't reach Nancy Reagan on the phone was a clue that she or the family did not want to talk with him, much less have him appear with a cameraman at her husband's funeral.

I thought I saw a post on FR about Kerry's past statements about Reagan.

I'm going to take a look after dinner and will ping you if I find it.

Of course, it could just be my feeble brain making that thread up! LOL

Not ONE WORD on yahoo or anywhere else. They know it. He's committed political suicide. Lurch at the Library. Film at Eleven. Oh, and all you people who had to wait 15 hours in the sun? Tough.

Is the MSNBC logo going over C-SPAN's feed, though? If so, who's the photog if he's not with MSNBC?

Back up to the AP photo captions. They identify two different photographers. I assume they are AP photographers.

at post #357:

Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) gives the thumbs-up to the media as he leaves the Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif., Tuesday, June 8, 2004. Kerry visited the casket containing the remains of President Ronald Reagan.(AP Photo/Ric Francis)

at post #410:

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), D-Mass., puts his hand over his heart as he pays respect to former President Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif. on Tuesday, June 8, 2004. (AP Photo/Jeff Chiu)

[Not sure who took this. It may also be Jeff Chiu.]

Notice the Chiu photo(s) are on Kerry's left to right. My screencap is right to left (and cameraman to Kerry's left, just partially caught on screencap).

Its the typical seminar caller polite then jab.

"Hi I am a republican and long time listener, Rush Bush is scum because xxxxxx"

"Reagan was a great communicator and non-partisan, Reagan killed the unions blah blah blah."

BTW when the left says great communicator, it is intended as an insult. They are TRYING to say he only had form not substance. (they are trying to hide their own symbolism over substance.)

How can this swine meet with the President when he hasn't spent the last 18 months in Washington? Is President Bush supposed to run around the country trying to set up a meeting with Lurch?

He's dirt - - he's below dirt because dirt has some use.....

Yup, it was planned before 10 am Eastern. That smirking moron, Aaron Brown, mentioned it on his hideous show.

Where he should stay for the duration.

Let's make it simple. Someone should ask just who the heck was taking pics and any video. And specifically for whom. And how they came to be doing it, if permission was asked and/or granted.

My guess....Nancy and her family are NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS.

Wouldn't it be something if Mrs. Reagan addressed the GOP Convention on behalf of her husband and made mention of her opinion on it?

It wasn't appropriate at all for Kerry to visit.
He opposed everything Reagan stood for...same goes for Clinton.
They had nothing but bad things to say about the man while he lived & now they want to profi off his death. Disgusting.

Sort of reminds me when ZsaZsa Huffington tried to upstage Arnold when he filed his papers to run for governor. She knocked over the microphone and in general made an a** of herself (her usual M.O.).
