Fox news is now reporting that Ronald Reagan has just passed away.
Of course, the answer to that child's question is:
The Soviet Union is in the dust bin of history.
A great, great man has left us. But he will never be forgotten and his acheivements will live on. Freedom has rarely had so passionate and eloquent a proponent. He will be missed.
God Bless this Mighty Man of Valour, and what he stood for.
He said that America's greatest days are still ahead...
God blessed us with this good man's life, he is missed.
God Bless you Mr. President.
This is truly a sad day in America, as we lost a great leader.
Farewell Mr. Reagan, we will miss you.
Ronald Reagan
April 19, 1985
"We must remember the sins of the past and rededicate ourselves to shaping a future marked by tolerance, respect, and compassion."
2Sa 12:15
¶ And Nathan departed unto his house.
And Jehovah struck the child that Uriah's
wife bare unto David, and it was very
sick.
2Sa 12:16
David therefore besought God for the
child; and David fasted, and went in, and
lay all night upon the earth.
2Sa 12:17
And the elders of his house arose, and
stood beside him, to raise him up from
the earth: but he would not, neither did
he eat bread with them.
2Sa 12:18
And it came to pass on the seventh day,
that the child died. And the servants of
David feared to tell him that the child
was dead; for they said, Behold, while the
child was yet alive, we spake unto him,
and he hearkened not unto our voice:
how will he then vex himself, if we tell
him that the child is dead!
2Sa 12:19
But when David saw that his servants
were whispering together, David
perceived that the child was dead; and
David said unto his servants, Is the child
dead? And they said, He is dead.
2Sa 12:20
Then David arose from the earth, and
washed, and anointed himself, and
changed his apparel; and he came into
the house of Jehovah, and worshipped:
then he came to his own house; and
when he required, they set bread before
him, and he did eat.
2Sa 12:21
Then said his servants unto him, What
thing is this that thou hast done? thou
didst fast and weep for the child, while it
was alive; but when the child was dead,
thou didst rise and eat bread.
2Sa 12:22
And he said, While the child was yet
alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who
knoweth whether Jehovah will not be
gracious to me, that the child may live?
2Sa 12:23
But now he is dead, wherefore should I
fast? can I bring him back again? I shall
go to him, but he will not return to me.

What the liberals of this country and the world will never forgive Reagan for was his magnificent coup in the destruction of the USSR.
He was among the greatest presidents we've had in this country, if not the greatest. His principles and values were beyond reproach, and he was a top-notch leader who'll never be forgotten.
In stark contrast, Rather is a slimey little weasel who isn't qualified to carry Reagan's luggage. To paraphrase Mark Twain, I wouldn't kill Rather or even wish him dead, but I'll be satisfied to read his obituary.

the passing of the best president of my lifetime saddens me because he is no longer with us. but i am honored to have lived during his administrations and felt his tremendous optimism and faith and belief in the USA which changed this nation when he took office.
Godspeed, Mr. President.
