ABC just announced :( Ronald Reagan was 93
"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."
I would appreciate a ping also, if Peggy Noonan has a column. From you or anyone else. And thank you in advance.

As an 18 year old, I've never had the opportunity to live under Reagan. However, since 9/11/01, I've taken the time to read about the man and his values. I'm proud to say that, although I never saw Reagan as a President, I have proudly joined his Revolution. Ronnie recognized the values of America and defended them to the fullest. He worked to undermine the liberal assault on American sovereignty and liberty. I intend to advance the Reagan Revolution as a student and, eventually, as a professional.

R.I.P. Mr. President
We have lost a national hero, and a treasure.
Words cannot express the impact Ronald Reagan made on the world, and on the personal lives of many. We are all better for having him in our lives.
May God bless the Reagan family, and may He welcome Ronnie home into His loving arms.
God Bless America.
Good for you Jim. I am going to wear my,"I miss President Reagan" button to school.
Dear Nancy and your family, here is a favorite verse . . .
Human affection is not poured forth vainly, even though it meet no return. Love enriches the nature, enlarging, purifying, and elevating it. The wintry blasts of earth may uproot the flowers of affection, and scatter them to the winds; but this severance of fleshly ties serves to unite thought more closely to God, for Love supports the struggling heart until it ceases to sigh over the world and begins to unfold its wings for heaven.
by Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health
That's a beautiful picture of him...
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds -- and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of -- wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
--John Gillespie Magee, Jr. (1922-1941)
I loved President Reagan, and I never had the honor of meeting him. I liked President Bush 41, but I didn't love him. I love President George W. Bush, and I hope that President Reagan will now be watching over him, guiding and inspiring him.
Forgive me, I'm not very articulate today, my heart is broken. Yes, I know that this great man's suffering has ended, but the pain of losing him is like being kicked in the stomach.
I am sure that sentiment is shared by all.
I keep thinking that Nancy is likely grieving, proud and thankful that the long ordeal is over and that he is at peace.
I know that I have grieved for a long time and now am sad/happy. It is hard to explain.
Ronald Reagan was the first president I voted for when I turned 18.President Reagan was the first that I LOVED to go out and voted. The GIANT of our time. You can't believe how much our soul and spirit lifted when President Reagan winning the election and taking office...
Godspeed Mr. President.
Godspeed Mr President. Godspeed, my dear friend.
In all the TV coverage I have seen today, there is the celebrathion of President Reagan's LIFE. Any tears are for ourselves at having lost his earthly presence. What a legacy!!!
Pray for W and President Ronald Magnus Reagan
I'm thinking he's finally with Maureen -- free.
President Bush will be speaking soon.
Nice words, NYC GOP Chick. So true. Isn't is always the folks who make ya notice the 'good' and the 'possible' that ya find yourself wanting to be around, emulate, etc?
Unlike a certain other creep who ascended to the Presidency, this man knew how to spread hope and knew how make ya want to be a better person. (So does President Bush.)
As trite as this sounds, I am truly grateful that it is President Bush, who as President, will be speaking to America regarding the passing of this good, good leader, this man of high character and optimism, of faith in America and pride in her, too. Love him, forever.
You know my Grandmother had a picture of JFK in her home when I was growing up and I was just 3 when he got shot so I never understood the love she had for him and the millions of people had for a president. Now I do. I have the same love for Reagan.
