ABC just announced :( Ronald Reagan was 93
I'm waiting for CNN or ABC to show as backdrop video clips of Reagan testifying about Iran-Contra. You wait.
The end of an era!
I was going to say something, but their end-zone dancing is far ruder than anything I could mention. Then again, they couldn't manage to respect their own guy Wellstone so I don't know why we'd expect anything better out of them now.
I'd sure love to live long enough to see that monument up there, or at least begun.
compared to Clinton or Kerry who are UN-trained actors?
Re Iran-Contra...hear one commentator on FOX call this Reagan's "mistake of the heart."
You nailed it...
And it wouldn't have been a mistake, except for the hatred of the left.
Isn't that line redundant in it's redundancy??? Most of America loves him and the extremists have always hated him. One of my liberal friends just called and offered his condolences. He has enough class to appreciate his enemies.
We will never see another RR in our lifetimes.
Pray for W and President Ronald Magnus Reagan
A caller on C-span just now was sobbing. A soldier from Camp Lejune.
I second that big time. Ronald Wilson Reagan was the man. Michael Reagan if you by chance are a lurker here, God Bless You and Yours, and your Dad was the ONLY man fit for the office at the time he held it. Were we to have had a lesser man as president there's no telling what a sorry state America would be in right now.
This is significant:
When the democrats did their welstone fiasco rally/memorial it was just a ploy to win the election.
For repulicans and Reagan voters in general its about voting one more time for the gipper, because its the right thing to do regardless of outcome.
Win one for the Gipper is an homage to the legacy of a true leader of the United States.
Perhaps, but let's honor President Reagan with the optimism that we may hope that we do.
I think there isn't room. He deserves his own space.Call it Mt. Rushmore II, start it with Reagan. Something like that ....
We brought the family to his Library two weeks ago. It was amazing, and I was sorry I had waited so long. We already planned on revisiting when they open the Air Force & Marine One Pavilion.
They are all getting their digs in, to me it seems profoundly out of place having these leftists, commenting on the death of their idealogical enemy. One thing I am sure of, President Reagan is saying right now "there they go again"
Exactly. He's finally whole again, though, and I'm finding comfort knowing that his mind is free of that awful prison. He's young and vibrant again and probably jumped back on a horse in heaven first thing :-)
Thank you, sir.
