Breaking News From The Guetzloe Report! Dyer Took Oath Of Office 17 1/2 hours earlier than official public swearing-in ceremony... Advised by Legal Counsel To Avoid Potential Court Order Stopping His Swearing In Due To Ballot Fraud Lawsuit & Aggressive FDLE Investigation.

It will be reported in Sunday's Orlando Sentinel, that Buddy Dyer responded to legal advisor's insistence that he take the oath of office in the dead of night 17 1/2 hours prior to his official swearing-in ceremony.

The ceremony, widely reported but attended by virtually no one, was actually just for show. Dyer was sworn in at midnight June 1, 2004 in a darkened Orlando City Hall to prevent what Dyer and his legal advisors strongly believed would be a forthcoming judicial order to stop the swearing-in ceremony due to the ongoing FDLE criminal investigation and the ongoing ballot-fraud lawsuit by strong second place challenger Ken Mulvaney.

Dyer weakly defended the midnight swearing-in by stating that "others had done it." What Mr. Dyer did not point out is that no one has ever done that who already held the office!

Dyer and his campaign remain the target's on an aggressive FDLE investigation and have had two motions to dismiss the ballot fraud lawsuit denied by Circuit Judge Theotis Bronson. Trial is set for July with a potential run-off set for August 31, 2004 or November 2, 2004.

The election is in question. Guess how much this democrat spends on this 'ceremony'? Around $15,000.

Buddy Dyer At It Again!

I read that as Bud Dwyer did it again and thought well that's certainly interesting.

dyer is a democrat.

The laws do not apply to democrats.

democrats do not have to obey laws they disagree with.

The laws are only to aid the democrats destroy their enemies.[Which are all freedom loving individuals]

You mean ole "pumpkin face Dyer"?

There is another corrupt Orlando poltician on his way to replacing Dyer. He's not on the radar yet but in a few years he will be.

Soon he will be a county commissioner, then he will run for mayor. For obvious reasons I will not put his name here.

Idon't like Dyer but like Doug Guetzloe even less -- he's a slug of the same caliber of some of Clinton's goons.

Is Guetzloe the Irishman who is challenging Dyer?

Dyer really impresses me /sarcasm/. His first order after taking office was to fire about a third of the city personnel (no administrators, though) and put a freeze on rehiring. His next best action as mayor was to personally greet the leaders of Gay Pride, when they came to party at Disneyworld.

typical. I have actually considered running for mayor of Orlando. I have not enough money to back me up.
Whave has Mayor Dyer done?
Is there less crime? no.
has he revitalized the downtown area? no.
has he helped to bring jobs to the area? no.
Has the city's educational sysetm improved? no.
can someone do his job better? yes.

Ken Mulvaney is the challenger in the election.

Doug Guetzloe, an Orlando "watch dog" is assisting Mulvaney with his campeign.

Thank you for the correction. I couldn't remember the name of Dyer's opponent. Does this mean that Dyer is definitely the mayor for the next few years?

Not really. It's pretty much up to Judge Bronson in a few days. He can order a new election by throwing out the absentee ballots that allegedly were tampered/filled in illegally or he can also state that the election stands and Dyer is Mayor. I'm not predicting anything, but Dyer tried to get the case thrown out twice and the Judge rejecred both claims. Also, the FDLE is investigating this matter and they hold all of the absentee ballots.
