I'm not trying to make fun of the Pres. here.
If any of you saw tape of this, he handled this w/ a laugh himself.
I figure the left w/ go nuts w/ this....

Looks like he needs a Totes.

You will see this umpteen times and not one of Kerry flipping the bird to a Viet Vet at the Memorial.

I guy next to him should have given the Prez his umbrella

It is simply amazing that the media who are all around Kerry keep forgetting to put film in their cameras, etc., but they seem to always be ready to click on the President when 'things happen'.

Kerry falls snowboarding....6 or so times. No one apparently even got 1 photo.

Kerry falls off his bicycle...media forgot camera batteries.

Flipflop Kerry flips the 'bird'... media were watching GWBush for word stumbling or whatever over at the other side of the WW II Memorial and just happened to be looking the wrong way and didn't get any photo.

Don't the media smack of being inept and incompetent.

It's humorous and charming. No attempt made to supress it. I just love this President.

But isn't it interesting how Kerry reacts with petulant anger, whereas President Bush retains grace and humor?
Who do we want to lead us? A foulmouthed and arrogant fellow like Kerry, or someone who takes the small reversals of life in stride?

If this were Kerry, he'd probably grab the good umbrella from the other guy.
[A report a few days ago: Kerry campaign in the Northwest US (IIRC). Outdoors. Attendees could not bring in umbrellas. Rain starts. Attendees get soakd. No mention whether candidate Kerry (who showed up a bit late) gave his stump speech under an umbrella or whether he got soaked. (I would assume the latter.)]

If that happened in the afternoon yesterday, I'm just glad he didn't get swept off into the wind.

I'm in Baltimore and was reading in the afternoon yesterday. All of a sudden I heard these winds kick up and it got so loud I thought the trees would break from their roots. The sound was almost deafening. A few drops came down an then it stopped. Last time I saw wind like that was the hurricane last year that took out my power for a week.

The photos are endearing. He is humble and can laugh at everyday mishaps which happen to all of us.

Kerry would have smacked the guy next to him, given him the bird, called him a mother-f'r and bought a $40,000 titanium plated umbrella to prevent such an "embarrassment" from happening again.
