Looks like a repeat of yesterday(91 tornadoes) expect over more populated areas...if anything..there is even more wind shear today then yesterday...High risk out with large-long track tornadoes likley
Not sure but I don't think there was any severe weather there.
I think the biggest problem in northern Minnesota has been heavy rains.
A friend of mine who is from New York was chuckling one day about Minnesotans' and their cabin retreats. He said " you people crack me up, why do you need a cabin? The whole damn state's a cabin!"
Oh, we'll get summer alright. It will be 55 degrees and rainy until about June 15, and then it will be 95 degrees and 98% humidity on June 16, for 75 straight days, with no rain. Wait and see.
Seriously contemplating moving. Can't take the short summers and long winters anymore. But for now, still very thankful we're not getting all those tornadoes.
We got hit hard by the storms here in Michigan last week. I went from friday to tuesday without power. This friday it got down into the 30s at night and into the 40s last night.
We've had the 38 degree lows also. Yesterday was supposed to be in the 70's, and we only got to 58.
I can't even consider wearing shorts outside the privacy of my yard. With our lack of sun, I'd blind everyone for sure!

yes...storms will rapidly form into a squall line...when that happens tornado threat decreases most of the time..isolated cells form out in front that line that become tornanic
that wasn't the main show...those storms have laid out an outflow boundry..Sun coming out now here in Peoria..bad news..
